@vitacura I would just like to hear your opinion, on issue 8, where Dick just saved Cassandra, (for the second time in 8 issues), Cass who apparently went from someone that can take out 50 people in 2 seconds (pre-flashpoint Cass) to someone that can't even take care of a small group of bailarinas by herself? lol, not to mention that she got tagged in a 1-on-1 fight against cannon-fodder, and then overwhelmed and beat up by mind controlled bailarinas, then Dick came in to save the day.

I hope it's alright if I answer too? If not just ignore this.

I think they took Cassandra's skills down a notion but you have to mind that the Ballerina against which Cassandra lost (the others were no match for her) was trained by the same people and was also a designer human. I also disagree that Dick saved Harper and Cass, he thought they were in danger but it certainly did not look as if they were to me as the reader.

With two times you probably meant Jason attacking Cass? That seemed more as if Dick was trying to keep Jason alive.

I could be trying to mix it up. He will stay in the spy genre but also be Nightwing. King said they had a three stages plan for Grayson, with them currently walking towards the stage "re-introduction to the greater DCEU" and reintroducing him with two identities (one for the spy and one for the hero world) would certainly make sense. Grayson won't end any time soon and certainly not after January when Robin War ends, they only start the new arc in February after all.

But the series is called "Grayson" and not "Agent 37", and it's not impossible that his time with spyral will come to an end very soon, and he goes back to being Nightwing even, even if the series continues.

You are right but it is not called Nightwing either. And I meant a Spy Identity not that he will remain Agent 37/with Spyral forever. He could take up Nightwing as his sole identity again but I don't see it happening during Robin War because of the February solicits. But we have no clue how this continuity works, so perhaps a good amount of Grayson until Issue X will play before WR? Who knows. For me a mixture just seems logical because TH shows him in his Nightwing gear and Grayson still as Agent 37 (or only as spy, depending how the arc comes to its conclusion) in February.

It could explain why he has the Nightwing costume on the February cover of Titans Hunt [if it is not just a flashback cover].

Luka Netz... right Kathy, try better next time.

#14 was good but the big reveal certainly suffered through the lack of Janín's art. But Dick finally went all out, waiting for #16 will be hell.

@brunnhilde: Yes, they have more competition, still: Fans are screaming for a female Superhero movie and Captain Marvel was pushed back to 2018. Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman are three strong brands because nearly everybody knows those names. Batman has an advantage through the games, Superman is still the sign for hope & strength, Wonder Woman is the feminist symbol. This does not mean that people will start running into the cinemas but it's more than Marvel had at the beginning. The DCEUs tone is also seemingly different than the MCU tone, which makes them distinctive. At the end of the day, the success of the WW Movie will be determined about how they utilized her in BvS.

About big names now being interested... I get what you mean but personally I see it that way: If you take a big name, that has become big because of another character, this actor will always be seen as exactly that character or - if the actor starred in many films - as him , which makes it incredible different to see the DCEU character as it's own person. Will I ever see Will Smith's Deadshot as the Deadshot? Probably not because I will always exactly know who Deadshot was portrayed by. Not to say that some people can't make that work, but Superhero Movies are still there to project the Superhero, a Big Name does sometimes do damage to that because instead of projecting the character it projects itself.

I have to agree on the superhero fatigue but I think Ant-Man actually pushed it back a bit. Fresh meat is the way to go.

DC has yet to prove that they are capable of making a good movie with superheroes that does not star batman. Because the last one they had that was not a batman film was superman II. As much as I hope we can get a great wonder woman movie I'm not going to hold my breath over it.

What about Man of Steel? I know the critics had a field day with it but the fan response and the "money response" was actually pretty good.

I like the cast, there is no one who is very popular but Chris Pine and Robin Wright but actors don't get people into movies anymore and neither of the other cast members have been dubbed bad actors by official critics. The MCU did not have Stars either but that has been pointed out already.

I hope we finally learn what she wants? Or at least what Dick has to do with it. Or the next chapter will cut right away and we will get nothing. It is good that she is finally there. I don't see them starting a physical fight but something will have to come out of this, perhaps a bit of manipulation.

Liked it. There is not much to say about it yet but it's definitely a Wonder Woman I want to read.

I thought his appearance in Batgirl was handled rather badly. Not only because he came off as a... dick.

The "Gaston"-Vibe would have worked for me if the whole presentation would have been better. He was there without a reason and pushed the wedding into the background. If they had given the wedding and him individual Issues then his appearance could have probably become more reasonable.

There was also the problem that the something like this happened in one of the N52 Batgirl Annuals before. There was no romantic chemistry since forever between them but they showed him as if he uses Barbara as a rebound-girlfriend. Such an action also doesn't seem much like Dick, he has always regarded Barbara highly. It still could have been an Issue that shows his flaws i.e. that he expected everything to stay like it was even thou he died if the respect had not been missing.

You are all right. It's great that they are slowly weaving his former relationship's back together. And with Tim in Grayson I can certainly see them going back to the younger-older brother dynamic they had. I am really interested in Titans Hunt thou, the relationship's outside of the Batman books are actually what I missed the most.
