Really like the new Blüdhaven, always thought Dick needed a city similar to Las Vegas or Miami.

Cautiously optimistic. For me Blüdhaven was over. He saved it from everything but Editorial and I am absolutely sure Editorial will never hesitate to drop another Chemo onto the city. But I like that Seeley wants to integrate a Las Vegas feeling, always thought that should be a city Dick should stay in.

Really hope Amygdala is one of the Run-Offs.

I was a fan of him as a bartender and as a cop as well. The bartender job could have been integrated into his vigilante work far better than it was. Also liked when he thought kids in a gym during the NY time. Should the globe-trotting stay I would like to see him have different jobs every other Issue. Just something random.

I like it, especially the gloves. The bird wings could be a little bit wider sometimes Fernandez draws them really thin in the interior art.

Nightwing Rebirth was a nice way to tell fans what would still be part of the series and hopefully a good glimbs into the new supporting cast for non-Grayson readers. For me it was what the Rebirth Issues were supposed to be even though Dick got more of a Return instead of a Rebirth. I had honestly already forgotten about the bomb, so I'm glad we got this out of the way. Paquette sadly was not as good as he could have been but I also think he draws too royal for a Dick Grayson comic. His characters sometimes look so stuck up.

Nightwing has a chance to be just as good as Grayson or even better. But I don't think it will be able to hit its high note until the PoO and the Crossover are done, both ideas come from the editorial and that might have an effect on the writing. Seeley obviously wants to be done with the PoO pretty fast and he doesn't really write the Crossover. But writing is not everything and while Fernandez is not a bad artist but he does not come close to Janín. To is a different matter, he has been a fan favorite since he drew Robin. Overall I expect Seeley's Nightwing to be better than Higgin's but more because DC hopefully learned not to bombard the title with crossovers that destroy everything the solo established.

Wonder Woman and Nightwing

Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing

Zatanna and Black Canary

Raven and Madam Xanadu

Wonder Woman and Aquaman. I want to see more of their mythologies form the basis of some adventures together. No romance, just friends.

I want to see Nightwing and Deathstroke team up. It was awesome seeing them fight when Slade was in his 30s and Dick was still a tween, but how epic would a team-up be. Kinda like that episdoe of Teen Titans where they teamed up to save Raven.

Dick Grayson and William Cobb would also work well for the same reasons.

Helena Bertinelli & Dick Grayson

Diana & Steve & Etta (Marston did it, so should his creations.)

Not anytime soon... I mean like for years. But Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz eventually.

Perhaps she can transform from one shape to the other? If it's not something that's not intended for the series now, perhaps it can be written in at another time.

Her human form for inconspicuous travel, her more recognized cheetah form for wonder speedy tasks, and her more anthropomorphic form for the big fights.

Or it could indicate how human she acts and feels which would be zero right now?

I like the new look and her head looks so fluffy. I want Sharp to draw more animals.

@graysonofgotham: Objectification is the wrong term for it even if I understand why you would use it. It's sexualization if it was objectification Dick would not have his own agenda, would be used as a device but Dick was always seen as human with emotions, purpose, and ability or proved that he had them by the end of the scene. It's also just not accurate to say that Constantine is gay because he is not. He is Bi. Both he and Midnighter are flirtatious so I personally don't see them as creepy. It's also not barking up the wrong tree, they both don't want something serious from Dick nor have they done anything but notice his appearance.

If it makes you uncomfortable then that's how it is but it has nothing to do with bad queer representation. The queer folk I know make a lot of jokes about sexuality, myself included, so especially Midnighter always felt natural to me.

@aahz: Bette Kane and Kate Kane were originally created to make Batman and Robin look less gay because Wertham was so homophobic he did not even realize they were not. And Bette might not have made the same advances that we have now because women (were supposed to speak/spoke differently then and comics had other limits but she was there to show what a straight hot guy he is. It's the origin of the problem.

Yeah, you are right Roberta was before but Robin declined her attentions as far as I know while Bette and Kathy were tailored to get with Dick and Bruce which they did in forced but short-lived romances.
