King's Batman will be different just by the way he writes. Snyder writes blockbusters, King writes mysteries. His character work is also the greatest I have seen in a long time and I really want to see him exploring Batman as well as the other supporting characters.
He was super nervous, I think he still can't believe that he is on Batman after barely two years of writing comics.
Love that they don't just push all the things that happened to the side, it was my biggest fear even when Grayson started and even with Seeley being the new writer I had my worries.
If everything that happened in Grayson will be ignored after Rebirth I'm seriously going to be mad, especially if the rumors about Helena are true. The writers sound nice enough but personally I do not see how Forever Evil was in any way good for the character. Yeah, Grayson came out of it but that had nothing to do with FE.
Huh, so after they waste issue after issue without Batwing in action they finally did it. Still not a fan of this book but nice to see him back, even if I enjoyed David a whole lot more as Batwing.
The Robin War fallout will take place in #18 and on (see solicitations). All of the current Issues still play before Eternal and RW. (Ashemore has not converted to Mother yet). Considering Grayson was in the middle of an arc to take Spyral down that is a good decision and otherwise it would not have matched with Dick's normal relationship to Spyral that is depicted in RW.
Damian was good in most Issues but the talk he had with Duke should have belonged to Tim & Jason. Damian accepting Duke so fast was really just making him acceptable to the fans and like Eternal is a Harper Story (+ Cass) this was a Duke story even with Dick and Damian getting the spotlight.
I'm actually great that they brought the PoO in this, it leaves opening a story with Owlman and the whole background can finally be explored.
