Respect Gog: The Killer of Supermen
By FirstHunter 47 Comments

Biography:
On a trip deep in Africa, missionary William Matthews stumbled on a being of incomprehensible power lying dormant. Irradiated by the being's powers, Matthews was driven mad, filled with visions of the multiverse, and imbued with a sense of purpose. Matthews took on the being's name of Gog, and embarked on a trip through space and time.
As one of the most prolific time travellers in DC, the exact order of his journey is unclear, as is his precise origin. In each of Gog's stories he claims a different origin, and yet we are shown that Gog was driven mad by the sight of his God. There may have been three Gogs, there may have been one, all we know is that they are all William Matthews. As such, his feats will be used in a composite manner in regards to all three of his pre-flashpoint appearances, with focus on his most powerful and significant incarnation, his appearance in "The Kingdom". What we do know is that Matthews grew into a being of incredible strength, killing Superman hundreds of times, and sweeping through the Justice Leagues of multiple universes.

Power of Gog's Staff:
Gog's Staff is empowered by the combined power of the Guardians, The Source, Zeus, and Shazam. The Quintessence poured all they had into Gog's weapon, and now its powers surpass even their own.

Energy Absorption:
Here, he absorbs the combined attack power of several Kingdom Come powerhouses including Dr. Fate, Zatanna, Hal Jordan, Obsidian and many others, totally unaffected and just grows many times in size. Thus, energy projection and magic attacks are legitimate liabilities to use on him.
Mentions how that with each Superman he killed he absorbed some of their power which is a trick he "bled" out of Amazo.

Transmutation:
Turns every cell of Kingdom Come Superman's body into living Kryptonite.
Teleportation:
Teleports behind Superman and stabs him in the back

Anomaly in the Space-Time Continuum
After developing extremely advanced time-travel technology, Gog proceeds to arm his entire timeline. Thus, there are an infinite number of instants featuring a Gog. He develops the technology to bring them all into the present together.
Gog rips open Hypertime itself, and an endless stream of Gogs pours out, all as powerful as the original. With them, he single-handedly wages war for a hundred years against The most evolved version of Doomsday and the League of Superman since he never runs out of men, but loses on purpose since he becomes bored and complacent.
