Darhk has a more impressive feat where he reacts to and contains an explosion, so he's probably fastest. Then Vandal, who's a very casual bullet-timer in multiple scenes. Then Oliver, as he's the only one of them without mystical abilities.
@firestormfate1919: Would like to see Barry's infinite mass punch killing AM
I'd be open to that as well. Wally takes down Anti-Monitor, albeit a nerfed version, with a flurry of IMP's.
It's hard to go wrong with who takes the Anti-Monitor down in the end, because they could all have a convincing case. Kara and Barry are both integral to COIE in the comics, and are the two major deaths of the storyline. Oliver isn't integral in the comics, but he started this live-action universe and it seems like COIE is gonna be his last story, so that might have the most emotional resonance with the audience.
@the_kidd: I would hate to see Oliver killing the anti monitor
Since he is the figure head of his universe make sense he would kill its biggest threat. CW clearly wants him to be their Batman so I can him going out similar to Bruce in Final Crisis.
Plus it wouldn't exactly be unprecedented in the comics. Oliver strikes the finishing blow against Parallax, another Multiversal threat in the crisis after COIE.
I got the impression that Luke had surpassed him based on his limited feats in TLJ, but it's a difficult argument to make just because Luke never seriously fights anyone, and no one else has really attempted Luke's most impressive feat as far as I know. Hopefully the next movie shows him in action whether it's a flashback or as a ghost.
Aside from Luke, I definitely don't see Rey or Kylo surpassing him within the next movie, unless Disney decides to do an additional trilogy or something.
I've always thought Anti-Monitor should be the most powerful being in the DCU outside of the Presence. COIE was the first event comic I ever read, and still perhaps the biggest in scale, so I see Anti-Monitor as the end-all be-all big bad. Not sure if they'll be able to capture that tier of power on a budget, but still.
Flash, Supergirl, and Superman should all be at their prime power levels in COIE, but should still be absolutely no match against the Anti-Monitor in terms of raw power.
Cap's definitely the better leader, but Bruce is definitely smarter and more tactically gifted. If you can only take one, I'd probably take Bruce from a pragmatic standpoint. If you have them both, make Cap the leader and Bruce more of an advisor/general.
I doubt it effects Hell, because everybody there is already dead, and doesn't require consumption of the resources Thanos is apparently trying to preserve. It's confirmed not to effect the Quantum Realm, which is why Lang survives and is unaware of the snap. That also makes sense because the Quantum Realm doesn't necessarily operate in accordance to the same physical properties that the Infinity Stones control. I think K'un L'un already got murdered in the MCU, but I geuss we'll never know that.
Probably. He's a better fighter, he's much smarter, and he's an infinitely better leader if the effort involves building a vigilante network. He even proved during Grayson that he can be deadly effective with firearms. However, Nightwing's never gonna go there, it's a pretty core component of his character that he's the light of the Batfamily. That's what makes him interesting, and also what makes Jason interesting, because he doesn't share that quality.
I don't really care if she lifts Stormbreaker, I don't think they've even established that it has the same worthiness enchantment as Mjolnir.
I'd be annoyed if she lifted Mjolnir. I've always been of the opinion that only Thor and Steve should be able to lift Mjolnir among the Avengers. Obviously all of the Avengers are pretty good people, but if everybody can lift the hammer it really takes away from what makes it special. Steve lifting the hammer is such an iconic moment, and I feel he's earned such a moment over the course of the MCU. Carol can work up to having her moments too, as she's sure to feature prominently post-Endgame. I'm not gonna walk out of the theater or anything, but I'd be quite dissapointed.
Additionally, Steve lifting the hammer makes sense because it takes him from street level to higher tier. Captain Marvel is already arguably as powerful or more powerful than Thor even without the hammer, I just don't think she needs that extra power boost to make an impact against Thanos.
