At first I was excited that Barry Allen was coming back BUt as he made his way back and DC spent all this time trying make his return make sense (Which I feel they did)... They spent NO time it seems trying to figure out how this would effect Wally. As Barry made his presence known, I found myself longing for Barry to go away and Wally to be the prominant Flash.
I'll say what I said on Facebook, I feel like Wally, Kyle Rayner, Conner Hawke, and all the other heroes who are odd people out like Donna Troy, Roy Harper, and Dick Grayson get a second shot in the Wildstorm U.
As much I loved Ted Kord as a character and as much as potential he always had but never tapped I still feel like his death was a signal to take a threat serious. DC has always been about legacy and it was time to bring in the next generation, Jaime Reyes.
Of course, that didn't stop DC from stealing the thunder from the next generation of Wally West, Kyle Rayner, Connor Hawke, Jason Rouche, Ryan Choi and Dick Grayson by bringing back Barry Allen, Hal Jordon, Oliver Queen, Ronnie Raymond, Ray Palmer and Bruce Wayne.
