Both to a degree. CM is powerful, but she's out of her depth with this one as she's playing with someone who trumps her physically, but she can't really use her hax to pull a win. Personally I think a better match would be CM vs Starfire.
@evil-incarnate. She is more likely to us weapons and fight h2h but Carol has many long range attacks so she doesn't have to stay in Wonder Woman's comfort zone. She usually fights melee, but Captain Marvel can very easily get the advantage using range.
With Diana's edge in weaponry specifically the bracelets coupled with her speed and skill she'd be hard pressed to land a decisive blow from far away if Diana gives her room to breathe. She really has no way of overcoming an onslaught from an overall superior opponent.
Also that's assuming that it plays out according to your strategy. Carol likes to get up close too.

Isn't current Diana high street tier maybe up to mid tier? Based on her Rebirth run she is pretty fodder.
