  • The second Hobgoblin, Jason Macendale, became possessed by a demon after making a deal with N'astirh for power. When Jason rid himself of the demon he was host to, it became a seperate entity known as Demogoblin.

  • Known for many years as the Green Goblin and Spider-Man's arch-enemy and murderer of his first love Gwen Stacy , Osborn fooled the world into thinking he's a hero under the guise of the Iron Patriot and outed many heroes as cowards. His downfall was caused by his own insanity when he led a Siege on Asgard. He recently came back as Goblin King.

  • The White Rabbit is a young woman with a dangerous obsession with Lewis Carroll.

  • The villain known as Madcap is a disturbed man who is trying to make everyone see that the universe does not make sense. He has amazing recuperative and healing powers.

  • The older brother of Colossus and Magik.

  • Once upon a time there was a pretty little girl who poisoned all she touched. Some called her Mary, others called her Typhoid. Every time she let out a sweet breath, someone else fell dead. She was sweet, she was toxic, she was Typhoid.

  • One of the five symbiotes forcibly spawned from the Venom symbiote by the Life Foundation. She eventually killed her symbiote siblings, and served as an enemy of both Venom and Spider-Man for some time. She has since been killed by Eddie Brock.

  • In Kumamoto,Japan (1893 AD), Ichisumi's powers first awoke. She suffered from a severe inferiority complex. Perhaps brought on by her abusive father, a proud samurai who was mad at her repeated failures. As a geisha she was also jealous of the more beautiful and intelligent geisha around her who were more successful. Fueled by her repressed rage and the disapproval of her father, she wished to disfigure the other geishas and Ichisumi's power first manifested, she let loose a swarm of "yume"* beetles that instead ravaged all the women in her village and hundreds of others. The beetles also absorbed the memories of the massacred women. Ozymandias mentions that the memories drove her insane. Impressed with her abilities Apocalypse directed Ozymandias to add her to his cadre of Final Horsemen, appointing her Pestilence.

  • Calypso is a voodoo priestess and a psychopathic woman who has associated herself with Kraven. She was the driving force behind Kraven's hatred of Spider-Man. She blamed Spider-Man for Kraven's death and has since tried to use her abilities to subdue Spider-Man and uphold Kraven's obsession with destroying the "Spider". Fortunately for Spider-Man, she has yet to succeed, but she has come very close to killing him several times and disrupting his life in other ways. It is certain that if she is not yet dead, she will continue to pursue Spider-Man and try to take his life.

  • The forgotten third Summers brother, he was raised by the Shi'ar as a slave after the murder of his mother and later became a tyrannical emperor. He is an Omega-level mutant with the ability to manipulate all known forms of energy.

  • Robert Reynolds became the Sentry, one of the first and mightiest superheroes after ingesting an experimental super-soldier formula. He is trapped in a constant battle with his dark side known as the Void. After his membership with the Avengers,he joined Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers and died during his Siege in Asgard. Most recently, the Sentry was resurrected by the Apocalypse Twins as one of their Horsemen, the Horseman of Death.

  • The son of Charles Xavier and Gabrielle Haller, David Haller is the powerful Omega-level mutant known as Legion. He possesses hundreds of mutant abilities ranging from telekinesis to reality warping, but each power is controlled by a different persona, which could be either benevolent or malevolent.

  • Wade Wilson is a former test subject of the Weapon X program, possessing a regenerative healing factor and an unstable compiling of other "Weapon X" experiments. Deadpool's powers and personality traits combine to make a wild, mentally unstable, and unpredictable mercenary. Deadpool has been a member of X-Force and the Thunderbolts, and a self-professed member of the X-Men and Avengers. The "Merc with a Mouth" is infamous for breaking the fourth wall.

  • The insane son of Moira MacTaggert, Proteus is a mutant with the power to warp the fabric of reality itself. He must constantly hop from body to body, as the energies he controls burn out living flesh rapidly.

  • The probability-manipulating and reality-warping mutant known as the Scarlet Witch is also mother to Wiccan and Speed, sister to Quicksilver and the power behind the mutant catastrophe, M-Day.

  • Mr. Zsasz is a serial killer with no regard for human life. He carves a mark into his skin for every life he takes, slowly covering his entire body in scars.

  • The Leper Queen is an anti-mutant terrorist who once had a mutant daughter of her own. Her two year-old daughter was killed when the child's powers burned down their home, also resulting in the Leper Queen's disfigurement.

  • Arch-nemesis and best friend of Adam Brashear, also known as the Blue Marvel. His power is unstable so he can only exist in our world for brief periods of time.

  • A sadistic mercenary abducted as a kid by Crime-Master who raised him to be a stone-cold killer. He assumed the persona of Jack O'Lantern after killing all of the people who previously used this name.

  • Greg Salinger is the second and most well-known Foolkiller. He is a soldier and veteran of the Vietnam War. He was in excellent physical condition and a fairly decent hand-to-hand combatant though mostly self-trained. He was also an amateur poet and deemed "criminally insane" at one point. More recently, he joined Deadpool's Mercs for Money.

  • Lionel Jeffries was a respected surgeon who along with his brother, Madison, elected to sign up for service during the Vietnam War. Both brothers were mutants, Madison with the power to transmute mechanical components, while Lionel had the power to transmute organic matter. While on patrol, the squad of men they were with were blown up. Body parts were scattered everywhere. Lionel attempted to reconstruct and bring the squad back to life using his power, when he was unsuccessful in this, his mind snapped and he had to restrained by Madison. He then became a patient at the Montreal General Hospital.

  • Algernon Rottwell was a twisted man from a very young age. He went from trying to creating zombies out of dead cats, to becoming a psychopathic murderer. This led him to the Dunwich Sanatorium, an asylum for the insane where it was that the doctors diagnosed him as "incurable." Soon after, Rottwell caused a riot, and used the ensuing chaos as a cover to take control of Dunwich. Many of the doctors and nurses were killed during the riot, and so Rottwell had some of the patients become the new staff, leaving him unopposed to stand as Doctor Rottwell. However, he soon earned the nickname, "Doctor Rot."

  • A war-time hero, the Blazing Skull was an ally to the Invaders and remains active to this day although with far less sanity. In modern times he has fought alongside Thin Man's Invaders squad and the Defenders.

  • Alistair Smythe is the son of Spencer Smythe: a mad scientist responsible for the creation of Spider-Slayers; robots designed to hunt and kill Spider-man. After his death Alistair carried on his work.

  • Lorna Dane is a mutant, born of an affair between her mother Suzanna and Magneto. Her mother's husband, Arnold, later learned of this affair and confronted his wife while he was flying her and Lorna on his plane. An argument erupted, upsetting the infant Lorna whose desperation to make her parents stop fighting caused an early manifestation of her immense magnetic abilities, which caused a magnetic pulse that destroyed the plane and killed her parents, as well as giving her hair its iconic green colour. Lorna survived the crash and was found by her true father, Magneto, who had been drawn to the location by her magnetic pulse. Believing that she was not ready for her abilities or the life he could offer her, he had his associate Mastermind use his illusionary powers to re-write Lorna's memories of that day, leaving her to believe that her parents died in a plane crash when she was an infant. Lorna was raised by Arnold's sister and her husband, and grew up thinking that they are her real parents until she was informed of the truth when she was almost twenty years old - Lorna's foster parents had feared it would cause her extreme stress and trauma if they told her before.

  • Annalee was a Member of the group called Morlocks that were Outcasts from society, they lived in tunnels beneath New York City, where she used to lived happily with her four kids; one of them being a healer , till a terrible incident occurred which ended the lives of her children. Grief stricken Annalee's powers had driven the Morlocks insane because of her despair, to make it up to her, Erg and other Morlocks decide to kidnap the Power Pack to replace her kids but the X-Men stopped them from succeeding. After a second attempt to kidnap the Power Pack as her children, the lonely woman eventually found happiness with looking after the orphan Leech and other children after the second attempt was a failure. Her happy days ended when she faced Scalphunter during the Mutant Massacre cornering her, revealing himself as the true killer of her children, during the confrontation He shot Annalee where she died in Callisto's arms.

  • Deadpool's Archnemesis, he tortured him by stealing his identity and resurrecting his wife. It's not outside the realm of possibility that T-Ray is the ORIGINAL Wade Wilson, and that Deadpool stole his identity.

  • After being bombarded with a massive dose of gamma radiation while saving a young man's life during the testing of an experimental bomb, Dr. Robert Bruce Banner was transformed into the Incredible Hulk: a green behemoth who is the living personification of rage and pure physical strength.

  • Inspired by the famous novel, Zabo concocted a similar formula. Repeated use of this formula destroyed his sanity and turned him into a savage schizophrenic creature.

  • Cabbie Killer was woman-serial killer. She decided to take revenge by killing some taxi drivers because she had been raped in a bad neighborhood after unsuccessfully requested the arrival of a taxi to take her home. She was stopped and killed with great regret by the Punisher.

  • D’Ken was the first ruler of the Shi’ar Empire, and is the brother of both Lilandra Neramani and Caly’see Neramani ( Deathbird). D’Ken was an emperor that had slowly drifted into madness.

  • Dr. Rottwell's mom.

  • MacDonald Gargan was a failing private investigator that was turned into the Scorpion with financial help from J.Jonah Jameson. He became the host of the Venom symbiote and was part of Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers. After it was taken by the US Government and he became The Scorpion once again.

  • After the death of the Green Goblin during a battle against Spider-Man and the discovery of the real identity of Spider-Man, Harry Osborn became totally mad. He decided to follow in the footsteps of his father and become the new Green Goblin. He was defeated by Spider-Man and Harry ended up in a psychiatric hospital. Harry would regain his previous life. He met a girl named Liz Allen and she became his girlfriend. After a number of months together, Harry proposed to her and Liz accepted. The married couple where soon joined by a child together, named Norman Osborn Jr, in honor of his seeming dead father. Harry however sometimes had trouble running from the hidous legacy that his father left him as the Green Goblin. He was treated for this by a psychiatrist, but this doctor turned out to be quite insane himself, donning the Green Goblin suit. At first, it was thought that Harry had taken over the identity of his father, but soon it was discovered by Spider-Man that it was in fact Harry's own psychiatrist.

  • Maximus is the genius and insane brother of Black Bolt who often plots against the Inhuman Royal Family. Recently, he has been cooperating with the Royal Family under Medusa's rule.

  • A bunch of body parts of Deadpool put together making the merc without a conscience. With no motive, his mission is to kill everything. His reputation has subsequently earned him the nickname "Dreadpool."

  • Dr. Ellen Whitby is a crazed psychiatrist that developed an obsession with Deadpool.

  • Nuke was a soldier during the Vietnam War who was traumatized by the war and his psyche damaged. Unable to find a place after the war was over, Nuke agreed to undergo experimental procedures to make him a super-soldier like Captain America who would answer to the government. While the experiments were successful, Nuke's mental condition only got worse with him constantly believing he was still fighting in the Vietnam War and going so far as to tattoo the American flag on his face. His mental problems meant he wasn't the ideal candidate to replace Captain America and instead began doing black-ops work for the government and contractors.

  • The latest wielder of the Ebony Blade in a long line of heroes and villains known as the Black Knight. One time Avenger and current king of Weirdworld.

  • The son of Black Bolt and Medusa.

  • Xorn is a mutant with a tiny star inside his head. After joining the X-Men, he became addicted to the drug Kick and began to believe himself to be Magneto.

  • Tomi Shishido, is a powerful mutant and a member of the Hand and HYDRA. He led the extremist mutant society Dawn of the White Light. As a child, he possessed near-superhuman levels of intelligence. He said his first words at two weeks of age, could walk at three months, and was able to read and write by his first birthday. He became an accomplished artist by age four, establishing himself as one of the five top painters in modern Japan. He composed his first opera at age six. This was also the age when he attempted suicide for the second time. At age 13, he created a mathematical formula that proved, without question, the existence of God. It was around this time that Tomi first manifested the mutant ability to turn people to stone just by looking at them, an ability which caused the media to dub him "The Gorgon", after the mythical beast with the same ability. Shortly after, he became the leader of a mutant death-cult called the Dawn of the White Light, which committed terrorist attacks throughout Japan. According to Emma Frost, the Dawn of the White Light had no intention of reinforcing Magneto's old manifesto or replacing the X-Men. They were simply against the concept of life itself, modelling themselves on the Hand in their objectives.

  • A serial killer, under the employ of Penguin in Batman: Earth One, who is fascinated with girls similar in appearance to his first victim, a 15 year old girl named Amanda Grant.

  • Paige is the second child of the Guthrie family in Cumberland, Kentucky. When her brother Sam ( Cannonball) left home to become a member of the New Mutants, Paige developed an inferiority complex and became obsessed with the possibility that she could be a mutant. At the age of thirteen she tested herself with a wide range of challenges to try and discover her mutant powers. Unfortunately, Paige's trials only led to depression and frustration. At last her temper broke and she begged God to let her find her powers, threatening that she would tear her skin off if she was not a mutant. She made good on her threat and thus discovered that her mutant powers would allow her to produce additional layers of her skin. So overwhelmed by the discovery of her gifts, Paige dropped to her knees and cried for joy. She had finally become what she always wanted to be. A mutant.

  • Phil Urich, was a hero who, somewhere along the line, began thinking the universe was against him, leading to a psychotic break. Formerly taking up the mantles of Darkhawk, Green Goblin and Hobgoblin, Urich is now known as the Goblin Knight.

  • Gabriel is the son of Norman Osborn and Gwen Stacy.

  • Diablo is a 9th century alchemist with aspirations of world dominance. He is able to produce any number of amazing potions that defy scientific analysis. Diablo does not seem to age.

  • Hannah Levy was a mutant who had pretensile tongue and the required a diet of insects, she resided in Mutant town till she was depowered by M-day.

  • Victoria Wingate Hellstrom was born on March, 4 1928. The Hellstrom family were secretly Satanists. Victoria was apparently 'sold' to the Chapel of Dresden. They marked her to be the mother of a half-human, half-demon child. On her womb were several magical symbols. Victoria considered joining a convent, but was rejected. Marduk Kurios (acting as 'Satan') arrived in Fire Lake. He quickly seduced and married Victoria. According to another account given by Daimon, Victoria's parents suddenly died after she first met Marduk at Fire Lake. However, it seems this was false. Daimon was born a year later. Satana was born a year and a half later. As 'Satan' focused more attention on his daughter, Victoria and Daimon became closer. Victoria caught Satana performing a ritual sacrifice. She went mad from the experience and was institutionalized. She constantly held an ankh as protection from her husband. Victoria wrote a diary to Daimon explaining about his past. However, she did not tell the full details either due to her madness or not wanting to admit she had been a willing participant. She died at the mental hospital on August 21, 1953, and Daimon shortly found her diary at the mansion. Stephen Loss exhumed Victoria's body and confirmed that she had been marked by the Dresden, whom he had destroyed a few months after Satana's birth.

  • K.I.A. is one of the clones of the Initiative's M.V.P. After learning of M.V.P.'s death he went insane and decided to kill everyone that witnessed M.V.P.'s death.

  • Katrina was a professional skier with what seemed to be a highly promising career ahead. She was challenged to a race by Karl Lubbings, a rival skier that wanted to prove her supposed inferiority to the males of the field. When he failed to actually race ahead of her, Karl decided to have an "accidental" collision with her which would knock her down and allow him to continue alone. Either way he was not going to lose to a woman. However the collision knocked them both off course and into a ravine. Karl was killed in the fall but Katrina was left alive and crippled. Her skiing career was over and the scars throughout her body ensured that her feminine beauty was also gone. She was left alone with her hatred of a deceased man which would turn into hatred of all men.

  • Betty Brant's older brother who got into gambling debt with a gangster named Blackie, and the third person to become the Crime-Master.

  • Kurt Gerhardt is the third Foolkiller. He lived a pretty ordinary life... that was until his father was killed by muggers, he was made redundant from his job and his wife left him. Soon after, he became the Foolkiller after empathising with the second's view of the world.

  • Crazy bounty hunter with psychic powers.

  • A powerful mutant with the ability to manipulate electromagnetic fields, Phantazia was most often seen with the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. She was among the majority of mutants who lost their powers after M-Day.

  • Wraith's background is shrouded in mystery, he first appeared during the second part of the Annihilation Saga. He is on a mission that is his own.

  • Nothing is known about the Reanimator, save that he was a technopathic mutant with a flair for the overdramatic who used his powers to fashion armies of robots in the rough shapes of other superhumans to commit crimes for him.

  • Ruckus is a mutant and the leader of the Nasty Boys, a group of mercenaries employed by Mister Sinister.

  • Halflife was an English professor who was exposed to gamma radiation. He can absorb energy from an enemy.

  • Dirk Anger is the Director of the Highest Anti Terrorism Effort (H.A.T.E.). He recently reinvented suicide as a group activity. He is virtually always on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

  • Gazer was a mutant that could use radiation as nourishment, and as a result lived on a space station in orbit. After losing his powers on M-Day, Gazer would become Apocalypse's horseman War.

  • Pyromania is one of the super-villains locked up in Ravencroft Institute.

  • Webber was an escape artist, a psychopath, and probably an assassin. He was declared mad by the law and was sent to the Ravencroft Institute to be studied and, possibly, cured or rehabilitated. Webber was in one of the security cells when Shriek was taken to the Institute.

  • Beginning his career as a circus performer where he helped train a young Hawkeye, Jacques DuQuesne later became the costumed mercenary Swordsman. He joined the Avengers, at first for nefarious reasons, but soon resolved to become a true Avenger when he fell in love with Mantis.

  • Elaine Coll, AKA Scorpia is a psychotic woman with a similar suit to that of the Scorpion and an enemy of Spider-Man.

  • Doctor Maris Morlak was once a brilliant scientist who joined other scientists in forming the Enclave, an organization dedicated to the creation of life itself in hopes of creating a better Earth. Shinski shares the creation of Adam Warlock and Kismet and the resurrection of Jean Grey, who had been placed in a cocoon by the Phoenix Force.

  • Paul Destine became Destiny when he wore the Helmet of Power which was actually the disguised Serpent Crown. He would clash with Namor on numerous occassions until his death during their final battle.
