@eto: I still haven't read Robin or 'Tec, but I read Bat/Sups and Reptilian and boy, am I dumping those two books. Reptilian is moving way too slowly and not offering anything that is worth my money. Ennis' characterization of the characters is a bit hit and miss for me, so not really hanging around to find out what will happen next. I might give it a go once it gets collected.
To be fair Bats/Supes is ending in November I believe. I like it, but I get where your gripes are coming from. The comic is just doing its own thing at this point.
Reptilian...is weird lol. I like the portrayal of this version of Batman, but the villains feel off to me.
Batman/Superman is just really going around the same place for me and for a book that is really centered around alternate versions of those characters - not really much of a big deal for me. A bit tired of alternate realities and multiversal adventures from DC at this point.
Yeah, definitely understandable.
Checkmate is also out this week and the book continues to be a tragic mess. Bendis skips from place to place and from today to some weeks ago at a whim and Maleev's great artwork doesn't really help out the book to be coherent.
I'm not surprised...yet another Bendis book that doesn't deliver a coherent story let alone a great story.
