Critics and fans made a big deal about destruction in Man of Steel, but why isn't anyone talking about the destruction in Age of Ultron? Just as much, if not more property was destroyed in Avengers
I don't see superman as a conservative. Especially when his archenemy is a huge corporate Business man(these are the people that give conservatives wet dreams). His New 52 version seemed very liberal to me. Clark was fighting for the poor and targeting corrupt big businesses as a reporter for a large newspaper. Nothing about that sounds like something a person with stereotypical right-wing views would do
Our psychology is wired to care about what people think. Words can sting. Mental pain is often just as bad as physical pain. American society really needs to be more informed about psychology and mental health, because I hear people spout ignorant things about depression, schizophrenia, and suicide all the time and it's incredibly annoying
@dbvse7: The key thing that you said is that people care about what people think about them. Everyone cares about what people think, if someone says that they don't care what people think then they are lying. Why do we dress up nice for interviews and dates, because we care was the employer or potential partner thinks. Why do we spend billions on colongnes, perfumes, haircuts, and hair products, because we care about what people think about us. We All care about what people think. We are social creatures, we want other people to like us. I have a friend who committed suicide due to verbal and cyber bullying, so when people defend people who spit hatred and accuse people who are offended as to "sensetive" and weak it pisses me off
