Mace Windu, Korun Jedi Master... Even though he was eight century younger than Yoda, he hold the title Master of the Order in Jedi council, and he was the second authority only after Yoda.
He was appointed in Jedi council at very young age, 28.

Mace manages to deflect Sidious's powerful Force lightning right back into Sidious, due to his lightsaber mastery and his powerful stamina, (Canon)
