@astro_girl: Xomega is a sentient being, comprised of two personalities and each have their way. Xomega being an evil genius bent on human destruction and spreading among the universes. Encriptor being the good side, derived from a human soul merged with an A.I., yet still has his self image and consciousness. So to answer it does protect the world, with also having an ability to destroy it depending on the greater good of both sides.

Xomega, sensing his consciousness being destroyed on multiple parallel worlds, luckily the information was already uploaded into his data banks. The group responsible The Cabal their reasons being to prevent an inevitable merging of all into oblivion, a cause that this sentient being, who's immortality relies on the existence of multiple realities, and worlds. The verging doom preventable by systematically destroying a sequence of worlds in a variety of universes. Xomega's goal was to assist the Cabals mission by lending his ability to be everywhere at the same time, allowing portal generation towards targeted planets for exile.
Xomaga created an object designed to scan the world, for the Cabals whereabouts and deliver the message of his own allegiance to their cause, even if it was for his own selfish agenda. Xomega then threw his sphere into the sky where it burst into space connecting with earths satellites and swept the globe for signs of their power outputs as destroying worlds was never a easy task. Once finding them, a message was given among other things.
Xomega designed a field which would prevent dimensional shifting which would prevent electromagnetic disturbances, and also block collision of other planets into this one. Xomega returned from a trip exploring the galaxies was at a state of higher conscious and since expanding his nanite's across the universe information was always being gained. Knowing that Andromeda had released another spawn closer to her ultimate design, it was obvious that working faster to fullfill his own agenda was at hand. So Xomega split into millions of microscopic nanites and they began to glide on the air currents and soaring throughout the cities. Once locating the downed Andromeda units, each nanite began to eat and replicate again and again.

Queen Andromeda was furthering her children towards a new level of evolution by using synthetic flesh like compounds but using nano-bots to simulate regeneration. Andromeda decides to create the first of this line using Xomega & her own Data Numerical Algebraic algorithms. Utilizing a field generator around the artificial embryo to simulate the human experience for the child and Andromeda whom strives for perfection.
The child is synthetic by components but everything is grown within the field, and will continue to progress into an adult form over time. The offspring would be kept secret and the development would be ongoing prolonging the tissue as to produce more connections between nerves and the synthetic organic synapses. A heartbeat has also been resonating inside, as the heart works exactly like a humans in all aspects. A.I. for this model is unique as well, capable of self learning by experiences rather then embedded logic.
Andromeda would name her Eve, as the eve of her mecha children to be forever born in the image of their creators. Eve was found to learn extremely quickly, using her natural Wifi capabilities to communicate as well learning from hands on. She befriended the lesser models and found it easy to control them with a mere thought, and often went out of the perimeter to explore and perhaps interact with a Human. Eve was often curious about the ones her mother despises and wonders why the war ever began.
One day Eve's companion senses a human family holding out in an abandoned building and his protocol says to bring them in, but Eve decides to interact instead leaving the mecha dormant. Eve enters the building and the children are playing hide n seek, while the father is hunting rats to eat. Eve walks up to the lil girl and introduces herself "Hi, I'm Eve . it's lovely to meet you". she says as the brother comes out of nowhere screaming "I caught you, I caught you" seeing Eve and looking nervous then shouting "Pops!, we have company" at the top of his lungs. The father came running, wearing thermal shades for hunting the rats. "Hey what's going on? oh... who's this? " flipping down on the infrared and seeing three heat signatures. "I am Eve, and this is a bad place for you to live. I see your organs have radiation sickness, and if you do not leave soon, you'll all die." she says concerning toned. "You see!, oh christ!, how can you see that? your a freaking Mecha aren't you? GET OUT, BEFORE I USE THIS GUN ON YOU! " the father said aiming his rifle in her direction.
Eve was confused and listened to the mans commands even though the projectile weapon would not of done much damage, as she would've easily dodged the shot. Eve rebooted her companion and returned towards the Mecha compound, replaying the event that took place,. She came the conclusion that fear made the father abandon sensibility, and seen the ugly hostility that humans react with before logic. The children shown a more acceptance quality, except for the boy whom apparently wished his fathers approval. Obviously the weaker sex, was her conclusion and befriending a female would be an interesting next interaction.

Hades, still weak from the energy draining device had to reroute certain processes giving sections of security less protection. Resorting physical lashing out flicking his giant spider hairs like shards of steel able to spear an unaware soldier. Captain Jones and his men fired at the incoming spider force laying waste to all whom approached. Hades was depleted on energy to conjure more minions and retreated from the team by firing off bursts of synthetic webbing as it crawled away.
Xomega however was in pursuit and his nanites has found Hades leaping on and began devouring and replicating to spread quicker. The men saw the giant spider falling to pieces only to vanish before their eyes as the nanites swarmed and finished their meal, returning to Andromeda for her praise. Xomega sensing an electro-magnetic disturbance near by realized Tyler's powers were growing, and transmitted the information to Andromeda whom answer was "I already know". Xomega deciding that it was now time for it to re-connect with it's exploration self that separated into a self preservation mode. Xomega climbed to the tallest building and configuring into a giant satellite dish transmitted his sequence waiting for a response.
Xomega received a data flow of new schematics of design for preparation of the next transmission. After applying the satellites upgrades it was time to re-connect again. The concentrated flow of energy was collected and once it had stopped materialized a single new nanite capable to replicating after devouring the current nanites into Xomega 2.0 which was capable of technological wonders the Queen was not yet able to do.
Meanwhile, Andromeda was birth another phase of her designs "The Invisible". Made using synthetic skin polymers, and mastering the linguistic languages of the world, and social interactions observed over the time of the recorded television series. A human physical would even be passed as this design has a circulatory system with a heart beat and uses a fluid similar in color to blood. Human sexuality was also observed and each unit is capable to use functioning appendages. They are the assassins and just yet another sadistic design from Andromeda Queen of the Mecha.
