Emperor339

There seems to be fewer than normal SW battles these days. I guess due to it being near winter holiday/end of term?

Very nice thread. I'm glad to see someone talk on this subject.

One thing is that I'd disagree with is using Dooku pushing back Ventress in saberlocks as evidence of his superior strength, since as you said, they tend to be rather inconsistant and IMO are rarely showings of strength. (Ahsoka has pushed back Grievous as a padawan, Vader and Maul as an adult, Barriss has pushed back Anakin etc).

Especially when they only happen when he faces off against multiple opponents (TCW and Rebels has a habit of having one person attack at a time, get shoved back and then stand there like a lemon waiting for their next turn in these situations. It's just 'meh' choreography).

However, yes, in terms of martial combat, Dooku has dominated her physically.

But that is more a showing of martial skill than superior strength (especialy since he's made fools out of Anakin and Kenobi via martial skill on multiple occaisions, including ROTS).

The only time she started to drive him back with her strength, he immediatly blamoed her physically.

Also, sad to see you go.

@greysentinel365:

But yeah, the only time we see him get his scar was from ventress and no other source contradicts that.
I certainly don't mean to question 'how' he got his scar.

@greysentinel365:

I merely meant timeline wise, since in tcw and oce it would have happened prior to the film.

But in the comic it happens in the back end of the war.

So it's primarily due to TCW not being entirely in chronological order.

Ok.

Though that still leaves the general inconsistancy with the comic book.

Though, I guess the scar itself doesn't really matter much.
