I guess BW will work. Especially since I'm in the mood for using looks I haven't used before.

The Planet Thoora

No Caption Provided

*((Sire, we've received updated files from the automaton on Earth!)) Lar-Ka rose from his throne with his mechanical pupils shifting back and forth between a variety of colors. The gatekeepers of the Multiverse were a divisive bunch. Unlike many of the planets they'd already razed, the Humans divided themselves into many subgroups; with more time, he could've made them destroy each other from within, but he was too close to Valkrie's objective.

He took particular interest in the 'Metahuman' definition; his knowledge was not his own; rather, he had to absorb the meaning from the Synthetic Cell Network provided by Valkrie.

'The Earthlings can fight back before he could slip too far into his thoughts, his minion called to him again. *((Automaton is requesting files on our empire.))

Lar-Ka winced before being uplifted by Valkrie. The Skalians had no territory, no empire; rather, they lived in the underbellies of already established worlds. Now under the guidance of Valkrie, he was able to map out a future for the bugs.

"Send him the files on our people; There is only one master," He responded. He'd get the entire history of the Skalians, including various war fronts across the galaxy, vessels, weaponry. However, he was forthcoming with information on his people, and the 3rd Society provided tech; he wasn't ready to divulge information on Valkrire "Omit everything in regards to what's taking place in deep space."

From his ship, he watched one escape in a burst of roaring flames; the being fled Thoora, it didn't matter; they'd meet in due time. The planet was down to acceptable levels. He could pull back the bulk of his fleet and disembark toward Earth.

"Send the 1st Wave" As his command begin to drill into the heads of those still one Thoora and a small fleet of about 40 vessels stopped their actions, and begin to depart for Earth.

Outside the Planet Thoora

He sat atop a throne of organic mesh, listening to the commands of the uplifter--Valrike. The master only desired one thing, the gateway to the Multiverse as a reward for their obedience; the Skalians would be the Synthetic Rulers of Earth-6 under the 3rd Society umbrella; it was why La-Kar carried organic Skalians with him in jars. To reproduce and add to the overall population of his people.

The harvested Synthetics were being ferried back to Dark Space; the body to become Valkrie was nearing completion; there was only one task left. Securing the gateway.

As he stood on the command deck watching the visual feeds of the Thoora harvest, the persistent blink of the comms system caught his eye. "Where is this transmission from?" He called out to the vessel as it drilled its answer back into his mind: earth, their final destination.

"What is thy bidding, my new masters?"

"Hmmm," Lar-Ka groaned before leaning forward to inspect the entity, pledging his allegiance. By now, the indoctrination probes sent to Earth would've started to affect those in close proximity; there will was his. He hadn't expected to receive a message from a fellow machine.

"We have use for you friend. Send us information on your world. Our master seeks the gateway to the multiverse...FIND IT SECURE IT. Become one with the machine empire!

@stephanie-ardor:

Outside Planet Thoora

Information this far out on the planet Earth was scarce; from what they could decipher, the planet was pretty primitive; they hadn't managed to venture off their own world yet. Why then would they have the key to the multiverse?

Lar-Ka's indoctrinated mind shift thru various scenarios on the situation, but the conclusion came from Valkrie in the form of a mental intrusion.

It appears we're not the only invaders. Make Haste in this harvest. The Probes are equipped to indoctrinate yes?

Lar-Ka bowed in acknowledgment to his master before pressing the button that would ultimately start the next phase of the invasion--Indoctrination.

Like every planet before, the first thing Lar-Kar attacked was the communications systems across the planet, making it hard for one side of the planet to communicate with the next. Within hours a full-scale invasion by Lar-Ka and the 3rd Society engineered Skalian Armada. In the Court of Court's official records, a Skalian was a mere bug on a barren moon out on the fringes of the Omega System (Which was why the Ninjans were wiped out first).

Thanks to 3rd Society influence, they were transformed into a brew of different species all sharing the same mechanical properties--One new robotic race.

Guided by the Nano-Swarm, they descended planetside first harvesting those placed in stasis by the swarm, before gunning down any of the others that fought back.

While his minions took to the harvest Lar-Ka stood with his hands positioned behind his back eying what little intel he currently had on Earth.

These humans have been at war with each other for years. I wonder how the indoctrination will fare with them. O merciful master, the time of your coming is near. Soon, I will hand you the keys to the multiverse.

Syncronization is at hand!

@embargo: I think silkworm deleted a post so I was confused. I would assume not since the probe scanned her and got the info then. I dont even know who is in possession of the German probe, so I left it out

The Probe is still physically in German, she just has the message.

I literally just found out about the Coalition

GREAT POST! Really increased the tension. I have a question though. Is he aware that Zazie entered the battlefield and intercepted the message already?

@cynthia_mcstorm:

Damn, didn't even give Tyler a chance to defuse the bomb and save the kids XD

Good post

The moment Bob 2 passed out the light on the explosive went from yellow to green. A cartoonish clown laugh was heard coming from the explosive and within ten seconds… the bomb went off.

What bomb are you diffusing that fast?

"Uh...yeah, it's exactly what we figured it was. Too Bad Barnes isn't here he'd get a kick outta this" Her field agent reported. While Line was trying to mobilize S.T.R.I.K.E. this massive battle Axe descended from the heavens cratering the Earth. Thankfully, the exact location had been undisturbed with the terror that occurred with Grimm City.

"Yeah uh, we secured the axe, but we can't get close enough to it to examine it. We'll set up camp here to rendezvous with whomever this might belong to. How are things on your end?"

Agent Line stood amidst the press awaiting Brian Newcastle's arrival. Standing amiss both local and national press agencies, Amanda did her best to keep off-camera--at least for now.

After a few moments, Newcastle emerged to an immediate barrage of questions ranging from his health to the straight to the point "Did you do it".

They were just as confused as she was; though she didn't believe he actually destroyed Grimm City; she didn't believe he tried to save it either. With Valor City standing in the shadows of the old regime it was clear who gained the most from Grimm's attack.

As his PR quickly calmed the innocuous chatter, the De Facto Director of S.T.R.I.K.E's hand rose to ask the first question.

"Agent Amanda Line, S.T.R.I.K.E" She started, feeling the camera's pan toward her person. "Why you? Why Grimm? and how did you manage to survive it all?"
