what in the world is a 15 yro doing on the internet to get advice for dating? that's what 50 year old men/women do. do what normal 15 yros do and just do your thang. it's an everyday thang when you let your nuts hang.
static is one of comicvine's oldest and well respected debaters, but i personally think veteran debaters should not be mods. mods should be quiet shadows lurking in the background and should not gain popularity in the same sense of a veteran poster. it's possible that static still debates under a different account, however, by doing this, corruption of favoritism becomes a problem and we wouldn't know if two/three/five people are debating against 1 person. mods can secretly create multiple accounts to favor their character over other people who are not mods and get away with it or they can spread the word about another IP with their circle which also makes debating unfair or even pointless. some debaters here went on a rebellion a few years back, but surprisingly they are still here. they created their own forum because they didn't like how the mods on comicvine modded. one of them was both a mod for comicvine and that other site, but it still fell in place that the reason they rebelled was all because of favoritism. they were talking a lot of shit about people on this site that never got banned or how the mods never do their job right. lastly, mods shouldn't make rules... they should enforce the rules of the site in which the admin puts up prior to opening this site. there are contradicting rules when mods make them from one forum to the next specifically inappropriate material, words, innuendo phrases and hints and the leniency of it. for example, the off-topic board can get away with a lot of inappropriate material vs other boards of the forum. these are likely to confuse new and vets alike which is why this site hardly has new "unique" users logging on and the traffic of this site is so poor that the site is asking users to pay for this site to keep it maintained the right way. if this site had 1,000 'unique' users logging on and clicking, this site wouldn't need to ask you for money because the the site gets payed for the traffic anyway. that is to say there are only a hand full of users that regularly use this site on a day to day basis.
@SC: if that's what your experience has taught you, then by all means carry on.
@Vance Astro: so you would subscribe to popular opinion over evidence?
@Ego: that's your opinion. There are plenty of outlandish moments in comic books, especially in regards to specific characters. If you tell me the black panther secretly can fly, but just doesn't do it, because of a fear of heights, that's outlandish.
i would like to call the writers liars sometimes, but who am i to object or criticize their opinions and decision of writing.
