@heatforce: well.....yeah, actua;lly. There was a precedence for that in the first secret wars. It was handled properly i.e how and why he got his powers and It was built up well not lazily done; like wonder woman lassoing Metron off Morbius?! and batman just sitting on it. maybe if they had shown Metron being critically injured and being in no condition to sit on Morbius and they needed someone to willingly bond with the chair at their own expense, it would have made Batman look more herioc.
*sigh* This is pretty much why I jumped ship from DC and have not returned. I absolutely hate how they are pissing on the Kirby verse with this and how they keep pushing that overrated joke at the expense of other characters. I mean Wonder woman de-powered Metron??!!! and now Bat "overrated-crazy-guy-in-flying-rat-costume" Man is a god?!!! What happened to telling good stories without writer bias?

@xwraith: you haven't been reading New Avengers have you? SO I take it you know nothing of the Great Society? All I can say is Doctor Spectrum has a lot of great potential, so watch out for her.
