I think it's genius that Snyder kinda trolled everyone with tdkr quote. Batman gets everyone talking, and the quote keeps us busy arguing everyday until the movie comes out.
The only exposure I've had to Nova is in the new Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon and I honestly found the character pretty entertaining, plus I like the art and concept of what I've seen, so I'll at least be giving this a shot and maybe following it in trade.
@lifeboy I used to feel the same way bc I have class at the time but they post the episodes online really early the next morning and they've started to have reruns on Friday at 9pm. At least here, in San Diego they do.
@theTimeStreamer : All very true, but that's not exactly firmly established nor hinted at in regards to the movieverse that Warner Bros. probably will try to create, people are already familiar with Batman having all this and so the movie could establish the team's resources quicker. Batman having a dominant/important role is essential to the Justice League movie because of how iconic he is, the general (non-comic book reading) public will probably only go watch the movie because of Batman and no one else in the roster. Most people don't seem to have an interest in those characters, especially with the Avengers being so successful, their superhero movie niche is full.
Batman is huge asset in terms of resources for the team, they would need some form of funding and/or source of intel (Batman is a techy, ninja detective) so I'd say he's pretty valuable to the team.
