I mean, if you're actually trying to argue that in a to-the-death fight, TPM Kenobi would defeat Plo then... God speed, good sir.
TPM Kenobi would defeat Plo. He has better saber and comparable power feats.
I'm legitimately willing to do a CaV on this. It's about time I get a good win to my name. Lol It'd have to be sometime later, though, since I'm about to suffer a gauntlet of exams.
Yeah, I thought that's what you're talking about. Unless I'm forgetting something, Ventress didn't win anything. Lol In fact, I remember that being a pretty good showing for Plo.
Ventress quickly overwhelmed Plo who only got one trade in and a disarm while she was distracted by Kit setting off an explosion. After which Ventress easily beat Plo down and stymied him with one blade.
She didn't overwhelm him, though. They were fighting evenly at best, but frankly, Plo was clearly the superior warrior there. Even while greatly injured, Plo was still disarming her left and right with one arm all while lecturing her. Like I said earlier, it was actually a good showing for Plo. He demonstrated exceptional pain tolerance, skill, and power. He flung Asajj like she was nothing, let me reiterate, while greatly injured. She didn't win a single thing that day.
It's funny, too, how you go on to dismiss my argument that Savage won only because Plo became distracted, yet you try to do something similar here in favor of Asajj.
By the way, if the TPM Kenobi vs. Koon fight doesn't appeal to you, I'm willing to CaV this as well.
Savage won because he took advantage of an open moment and grabbed Plo's mask while the latter was distracted. Everyone knows this.
Yes and I'm sure getting shot at by a clone and having to deflect it (with the precision to hit him in the head I might add) is not distracting at all. Both were distracted by the same things at the same time. Savage won because he recovered and acted faster. Despite by far having a worse situation, having to deflect fire while Plo only had two words.
This fight is certainly more nuanced. Savage was in a chaotic environment so there's no arguing that it didn't cause him at least some problems, however, my point is that Savage was singularly focused on killing Plo that entire fight. Not once did his focus waver. Yes, he was bombarded by blaster bolts from a few troopers, but we should remember that he Force Pushed the majority of them off a ledge in the early stages of the fight. He's also a fairly high tier threat, so deflecting blaster fire from a handful of clones is a borderline effortless feat.
That being said, Plo's focus did waver significantly in one moment, and in that very moment Savage managed to basically rip Plo's life support off his face. That's no coincidence. I mean, the dude literally turned his face away from his opponent.
Based on all the information the scans give us, it's clear that Plo was winning. He slipped up big time and let Savage take advantage of his kryptonite, basically. That's not evidence that he's more skilled or that he's faster. They were a fairly good match for each other so any mistake, especially one as huge as that, would basically lose one the fight.
Prior to that moment, it was pretty clear that Savage was on the losing track. It's not difficult to argue that Plo would defeat Savage were it not for him turning around like that.
Not really. Plo landed one glance while Savage was distracted by clones,
Once again, you're being hypocritical. So Savage was distracted, but Plo was just slow and lame despite explicitly turning his head and directing his attention elsewhere?
Also, nice way of minimizing the feat. Plo didn't get hit once and Savage got hit by Plo. Call it a glance all you want, but the fact is that Plo had the upper hand pretty much that whole fight.
Savage then kicked Plo to the ground and blade locked him. Did you notice that Plo is on his knees in the first scan you posted (last I checked Savage wasn't so tall that Plo only came up to hi waist)?
This is getting ignored. There's no indication that Plo got kicked. I even went back to check the scans. No where is he kicked. I'm not sure if you're outright lying or just forgetting something. Also, the bladelock happened before Plo got distracted. You should probably look at the fight again.
