Mostly an elaborate response/update to previous claims. Let's begin shall we?

  • This is going to be really hard to defend... so I won't, and just tell you guys that I really connected with Flash when I was a kid. A lot of people who knew me back in elementary knew I was a really fast runner, and that I was just naturally talented at it. Yeah, takes a guess who inspired me ...

Ahem, he's just a really awesome character (especially Wally West), and with Justice League he's always brought fun and comical relief to the table. I like how he flirts with Wonder Woman, and how he and Batman interact (BM being the serious 'get the job done' type, and Flash being the complete fuckin' opposite :D) So ever since I was a kid, I loved Flash.

  • Green Arrow is very much a normal guy. He's had a fair mixture of fortunes and unpleasantness in his life. For every good thing that's happened to him, something bad has to come and ruin it. He got married, but he's also been raped. His house has been blown up, but he also inherited a fortune, and stuff like that. He's an amazing character with comics heavily based on stories and very human elements. Also, the guy's a marksmen.

    I LOVE marksmen.

I think a film SHOULD be made.

  • I am a Hulk fan. Maybe I'm a little biased having fell in love with the old cartoon, and Ang Lee's Hulk and the action figures and the comics. I had these Hulk fists when I was a kid and I'd beat the crap out of my friends with them mercilessly. I just love the guy, and how he gets written. I mean the Bruce Banner character is a unique scientist and when he turns into Hulk, some of his stories can get really emotional. Now about the new Edward Norton movie, I like it to a certain extent, but I don't like very much how Hulk is portrayed. Bruce is fine, but Hulk needs to talk a lot more than just roaring and gutteral sounds. But I have to admit that fight scene was fucking amazing, fucking Hulk lifting up cars and throwing them at Abomination. Pure gold.

  • I like this unknown hero a lot for being very 'zen' and enigmatic. I mean he's a character that's very rorschach-esque, but later becomes sort of his own thing. A very odd character indeed, with lots of unhindering insight. If every DC character were to stand in the middle, he'd be a couple paces to the left because he's just so different from everyone else.

  • If there was one superhero you could get away with calling 'emo', it'd be Daredevil. There are just terrible, terrible things that happen to this man, but he just takes it. I'm pretty sure Peter Parker and his whiney antics are nothing compared to what Matt Murdock has been through. I also like how closely integrated the Murdock/Daredevil persona works. He's basically a court laywer all the time and only uses the Daredevil costume for breaking-and-entering type work, or to beat the crap out of people. I guess that's how he deals with his emotions (hint hint faggots).

  • What really needs to be said about Batman? I mean.. he's Batman.

  • He's such a great character! Well.. he's more of a serial killer than a superhero. But, he does hate and kill the truly evil people, and isn't afraid to just murder them in their tracks. I really like Punisher for that, I mean he lives up to his name by just giving 'scum-of-the-earth' people what they deserve. I mean let's say you put The Joker in front of this man... Punisher would have blown him away in a matter of seconds without much thought. I'm suprised they don't use him as like an executioner or something.

  • I'm pretty sure everyone loves Rorscach, and for a good well-deserved reason: He is just likeable. His appearance is obviously a big draw and so is his intelligence level. Despite the fact that he smells horridly, he's an all around great detective. Have NOT even read all of Watchmen yet, but him and Dr. Manhatton are great together!

  • Some people get put off by this guy. But Hellboy is a brilliant character, and he's a whole lot of fun in that he fights everything from demons to fantastical fairy-tale like creatures, and does it all in a really matter-of-fact manner. His movies are great and in the comics he's even better (constantly falling through floors and fighting giant monsters, like it's his daily routine). Just a really fun character overall.
