@pikahyper: Just give me a month. I promise, I will be much better by the end of it. I'm trying to write something in the historic present tense (people keep saying 'present tense', but I think they mean historic present tense). I think I could get the hang of it. I know I can be impatient, and so I ask you now to be patient with me, and things might get better.
@pikahyper: How about this? I stick with the small, basic edits, and keep it limited to only a few.
Also, other wiki experience has nothing to do with this. I don't add too much information on those. The problems being caused on here are purely because I feel like I should edit them in more information than I would like to add. Believe me, all I want to do is add the characters to the comic pages, and basic info like names, publishers and creators to the character pages. The information thing is just because I feel like I need to do it. If someone else does that, great, makes my life easier.
Anyway, I can tell you hate me being here, so pass me to another moderator. Or at least explain how I can improve on my mistakes. How do I correct them and such. If you did that a week ago, this wouldn't be happening.
@pikahyper: Of course I want more detail if I did something wrong, but in this case, I knew that I was wrong, why I was wrong, and how to fix the mistakes to make sure I don't repeat it.
Now, I am sorry for getting upset earlier. I just think that if someone admits their faults and knows they've done wrong, they don't want to be reminded of those mistakes. You saying what you said only reminds me of those mistakes, so of course I'm going to get upset. Still am.
And if you're implying that I don't fit in here, it's purely because I'm not getting the right help. Send me to another moderator, have them teach me from scratch, because clearly you're not the one who should be teaching me anything. Maybe another moderator has more people skills and can communicate a little better, and only then may I stand a chance at fitting in.
I think the only problem I've got that keeps coming up is the 'Major Story Arcs' section needing to be in present tense. I am trying to understand what that actually means. Point is, most of the problems are one-off's, and if not, I am improving. Give me a month or two, maybe longer, then make your decision if I can fit in here or not.
@pikahyper: Reading over JLA: Year One Issue 8, it appears that they may be the same person, and may be Martian Manhunter, or maybe another shapeshifter. I might need someone else to look at it and see what they have to say.
@pikahyper: Turns out that Officer Perez, Lora Denton, Paris Jackson and Mike Sherman aren't Martian Manhunter, but rather separate characters. I thought they were the same person, a shapeshifter, but now I'm not so sure. My apologies.
In other words, you might need to remove the previously mentioned names from Martian Manhunter's aliases.
Again, I apologise, and I will try to figure out exactly who they actually are.
@pikahyper: Well, I've been able to find them. I just typed in the name of the graphic novel (i.e. Hush Part 1) and the word 'Eaglemoss' and was able to find it. It's apparently on their site.
I know the UK's not great when it comes to anything comic wise, but still, I have seen them in stores, especially WHSmith, which are good when it comes to that sort of stuff. Haven't seen them the last couple times I've been though, but the first 5-6 months, I found a few.
The covers will be on the internet somewhere, it just takes a while to find them.
