Kitty is the best.

But I like Jubilee, X-23 and Armor, too.

I really want to read Wolverine: First Class Vol. 2 with Jubilee.

Has anyone read Wolverine: Killing Made Simple? In this one-shot Chris Yost gives us a half dozen ways to kill Wolverine. Wolverine is dying, and he tells Trance, he is not immortal, he can be killed, and how.

Yeah, Wolverine is the best there is. He had plenty of one night stands (especially in his one-shots and minis). But there are more major characters on his love intrests list.

Don't forget Tyger Tiger. They were together in Madripoor.

And he kissed Rogue, too.

Mariko is the best.

After her comes Jean. And Yukio. And Domino. And Tyger Tiger. And Mystique. And then the other twenty...

It's hard to pick one (I have at least 10 favourites, and half of them are not on the list), but Paul Smith got my vote for Uncanny X-men 172-173. This was the first X-men story I have ever read, and it's an all time classic for me.

Yeah, this is a good (and sometimes great) story. There were only a few good Wolverine solo stories in the recent years, and this is one of them.

" Yeah, the characterisation is his weakness. That's true, too. "
That's by far one of the more important reasons to buy a comic. He writes a terrible Emma, Magneto, Iceman, Beast etc. And, as much as I like Cyclops, he has focused way too much on him.  "
I don't like when everything stays always the same. Fraction tries something different. And i appriciate it. And I know, his writing has flaws, but it's an intresting book for me, because there are new things, new problems, and new threats for the X-men. Now the book is going somewhere. "
Please, he's trying to rehash Morrison-esque ideas. Sublime's been done before. Cloned X-Men? Pssh.  "

I like Sublime (and the Morisson run is the second best after Whedon's, so I like that someone uses their plotlines and characters). Cloned X-men? Yeah, I heard from that, and maybe it's not the best idea, but I have no opinion in this matter, because I haven't read the last few issues yet. I live in Eastern-Europe, and I collect trade paperbacks and hardcovers, so I am not up-to-date. :) But SF and Utopia was new (I liked Claremont's Australian Outback X-men when I was a kid), and the X-Club and the Sisterhood were okay for me.

Fraction deserves some appreciation: he made Uncanny the core X-men book again, and it's a big thing! (Some years back it was the New X-men and the Astonishing.)

Yeah, the characterisation is his weakness. That's true, too. But I like his work overall.

Fraction is not that bad.  The former Uncanny writers were worse. Since 2002 he is the best writer on this book.

Chuck Austen was terrible. All-time low for the X-men.
Chris Claremont was okay, but his writing wasn't contemporary. He had some good stories (especially End of Greys), but his run was only average.
Ed Brubaker: his work was a good read, but it was flat (and there were no real focus). He had only one really good story (Divided We Stand).

And now Fraction: he has flaws, but his work is solid.
He want the X-men look cool and badass (hence the character boxes and the one-liners, but these things don't work every time). That's true.
And he is not a 22-pager kinda guy. That's true, too. (Look at Nation X, or his Iron Man run).

But he has a vision (which the former writers didn't have), and he brought a lot of changes to the life of the X-men. A different approach is not always bad. It's just different...
