I'd love to see the Titans get 1) A writer who actually know their backstory 2) A stable roster 3) And editorial staff that would keep the title pointed in the right direction. And most importantly, quit killing Titans. As it stands now, who in their right mind would want to be a Titan. They've become the new suicide squad. They're new battle cry should  be "Titans, let's get maimed!"

J. T. Krul has shown he's got a decent feel for the characters, and I think he'd do a decent job on the book. But, unless the editorial staff quits dictating what's going to happen story wise, it really doesn't matter who they put on the writing chores.

I just happened to stumble across this topic, while looking up some info on  Muhammad X, namely because I remembered reading the issue, when it was on the stands, and wondered if they ever did anything more with him. I do tire of the stereotypical depictions of the Angry Black Male. Why can't they just have a hero, who happens to be black? Why do most comics feel the need to depict the "plight of the black man"?
