Dredd_78

The main series has been a pleasant surprise so far. I've been leery (and weary) of events recently, but this one has had a lot to offer that overcame my skepticism. I hope the remainder continues to maintain the quality. I'm hoping the additional issue will avoid the rushed feel we see at the end of way too many events.

If anyone commenting on the title is legitimately confused (versus the trolls), the 0 issue of this title was published 7 years ago. Bucky was Captain America then, because Steve Rogers was "killed" the year before.

@bretmaverick2: How far back do you mean? While lots of series use a generic president, the real presidents have been depicted in comics since before I was born. I knew I remembered seeing Reagan and Carter in 70's and 80's stories.

@roboshark: What was your objection to the recap page being in the preview?

I have been pleasantly surprised at how many of the SW books I have enjoyed so far. Since I've liked more than I expected, I'm intending to eventually give them all at least a fair shot.

For the ones I was not dying to read upon release, we have a local store that prices stuff to move at $2 after a while and later drops remaining copies to $1. Some of those will still be in long enough to be more economical.

@guru_crack: Since they wiped out the expanded universe, I'm not sure how likely Krayt is to be reintroduced. I would really like them to adapt some fan favorites into the new canon, of course Mara Jade tops my list.
