Queseda gave a detailed look at the creation of this basically said it was intended as a multi-use promotional piece for the anniversary.

I really dislike the Batman/Catwoman pairing.

I think Jean should stay dead. She actually has a nice role for herself right now as essentially the Guardian Angel of Mutantkind. She served in that capacity in Fraction's Sisterhood arc, Yost's current X-Men arc, and is pretty obviously serving in that role in the whole saga of Hope Summers.
 
That being said, if she did return I want her to go with Logan. Let Scott stay with Emma.

Bruce Wayne and Steve Rogers are two characters that would have preferred to remain dead, and not out of dislike for the characters or anything. Steve's return worked a little better for me because of the symbolism of his death (signified change to a darker world) and rebirth (symbolized the end of Dark Reign). I was not and am not a fan of Bruce's return.

Heck, if Daredevil really wanted to, he could even try hooking up with ... Victoria Hand.

I really dislike the Supes/WW pairing, myself.
