I think champions is a great idea for MARVEL to push their all different agenda. I think they should leave Avengers alone and then let this book/their agenda try to sell on its own merit.
I'm pissed because only 1 of the team is black and none of the team is blatantly gay.
I won't be happy until the entire team is made up of black lesbians. Then MARVEL will finally have accomplished what they've sought out to do, until then it's simply a half measure.
Looks awesome, one question. Didn't rebirth reveal that DC universe didn't reboot during n52, they just got 10 years taken from them? If so wouldn't this superman belong to this universe? (Going off of the whole, "you don't belong here" statement)
Loved this series but they killed it for me when they blew through many great plots in the course of a few episodes (sanctuary, then the cannibal people, then Washington) so many things you could have spent an entire season on. I tuned out until they figured out what they were doing.
Glad to hear this is going to be a "slow burn". This means great plot development for me. But now that I've been out so long I'm just going to wait until the series is done and binge watch it in under a month or so.
I read a lot of Abnett warhammer 40k stuff and loved it, his mix of politics and action has always been to my personal liking.
I'm not an Aquaman fan, but I'll watch this series from a distance and if it turns into something cool regarding the plot I'll pick it all up at the end.
Dear MARVEL, I don't know how to word this but... I'm breaking up with you. It's not me, it's you. It's just ALL your NEW and DIFFERENT attitudes are NOW coming between us. We had a good thing going and you ruined it.
To DC: hey girl, I haven't seen you around in a while. Let's hang out. We can take it slow. I know you hurt me about 52 times in the past but I'm willing to give our relationship a rebirth of sorts.
