NoThe thing isn’t just serious because of what it can do, but because it has a high infectious rate and not many people can get tested. If we knew how many people were sick we would not be quarantined...

I just read the chapter and Aldoron needs to actually touch the person’s head to read what they think of. And it can be dodged and countered by that person’s thoughts.
