Oh snap!

Is there an easy way to turn "TEAM" into "CHARACTER" pages?

https://comicvine.gamespot.com/daniel-diaz/4060-64929/
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/dee-roach/4060-64930/
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/emerson-lesley/4060-64932/
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/eugene-goldfarb/4060-64927/
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/salvatore-jackovoni/4060-64931/

Obviously, those should all be characters.

I'M VERY SORRY!!!

Plus, pls add the following aliases to those character pages:

Daniel Diaz -- "Boom Boom"
Dee Roach -- "Diesel"
Eugene Goldfarb -- "Goldilocks", "Eugene Goldman", "Tecumseh"
Mario Packard -- "Heatseeker", "Heater"
Salvatore Jackovoni -- "Patch"
Samson Raines -- "Houston", "Sergeant Raines"

Thx.

I really appreciate the openness of Comic Vine to non-American comics, but in this perspective the language problem has not really been taken into account.

I think it would be interesting, at the level of the detail of the volumes, to create a specific field for the language of the volume, possibly a field for the original language and one for the translation language.

It would also be interesting to propose a field to indicate the geographical origin of the volume, either the country or the subcontinent.

There should be themes/categories for that.

Just like there are existing themes for "Foreign", "Translated", "Manga" and "Golden/Silver/Bronze/Modern Age" (US) comics. The "Foreign" theme just hasn't always been used in the past. However, it'd be great to define volumes as "French", "Italian", "German" publications.

I'd also love to add foreign solicitations but IIRC I was once told there is some policy that doesn't allow it.

Rai (character page)

Many aliases are listed double (for whatever reason)?!?

Here's a complete list:

  • Shiro Yagami (1st)
  • Sho Sugino (2nd)
  • Nakadai (3rd)
  • Shinobi Nakadai (29th)
  • Rentaro Nakadai (41st)
  • Tohru Nakadai (42nd)
  • Takao Konishi (43rd)
  • Obadiah Konishi (44th)

The first three are also called Yagami-san, Sugino-san, Nakadai-san just in case.

Takao is also called "The Last Rai".
Obadiah "The Greatest Rai".

  • Rai X (the current Rai)

Then of course

  • (The) Ghost of New Japan
  • (The) Spirit Guardian of New Japan

I'd put "various" for real name. The current Rai doesn't even know his "real" name, or doesn't remember it (yet).
