    Ghost Rider looks cool but has never been able to carry a story. All of my favorite stories with Venom have him as either a hero or villain (not an antihero). I guess that leave the Punisher.

    Start where you want. Arcs are usually only 4-5 issues so if you're in the middle it's not the end of the world. Most books get collected in trade paperbacks so match any hero you like with volume on...
