@esquire: You have time I probably won't update till Friday night.

@lukehero:

Now you are in the real world fighting him but he can plan his attack on you. Now you are using Vertigo's powers on him which won't work too well given that he is immune to psionics. You'll need to get close enough to him to attack him and that won't be easy. Once you are in range, he turns into data and teleports away and fires off a plasma blast.

@cjdavis103:

How does a mana rope have "physical durability" as the listing for Bind suggests? I am only going off of the rules of Bind to suggest that physical attacks would work on it.

Kratos has fought his dad and other lightning wielders on multiple occasions. Anything electricity you throw at him would be many times less powerful than what he already has experience in tanking.

If Gamer Body obeys game rules then it would have to Obey the game rules of Bioshock Infinite.

Cowboy may have 2 guns in his hands but since his first action was to create hellfire, he isn't going to drop that gun when he gets hit by Possession. Had he chosen to use the cannon gun first, it would be a different story.

The Outsider even decries the idea that what he grants is magic. The only one's suggesting it is magic are the Overseers and they are religious kooks. I liken it to a Green Lantern Ring. It appears to be magic but is purely tech that is poorly understood. Strenuous or not, as long as he doesn't overuse it, Arcane Creed should be okay. Ezio is used to dealing with limited resources so he won't waste it unnecessarily.

I look forward to your next post.

@erik: You know what lets let a neutral third party who is knowledgeable on Star Wars intervene.

@juiceboks@deathstroke19@The_Deathstroker

Can Ion Weapons bypass shields entirely? A simple yes, a simple no is all that is required but if you would like to add information you may.

Have you not been reading Ferro's posts? He has outright stated that it was more biological than technological. It is biologically merged with her like the TO Virus. Heck, Samus is only able to use it due to the mutations that the Chozo gave her at birth. That's right, she has Chozo DNA running through her that augment her agility and allow her to use the suit. Without those genetic modifications, the suit can't be used. The X-Parasite had to mimic Samus down to her DNA to use it against her in Metroid Fusion. That's right, the suit reaches all the way down into her DNA to function. You didn't just give Ferro a suit, you gave him new DNA, 3 layers of armor, and a suite of gadgets. This would be like allowing someone Master Chief's Armor without the required physicals needed to use it. You already stated that Cable's Cybernetic Implants would be powers not items. You also further suggested that since Wolverine's Beta Adamantium is so infused in his biology that it was also a power. So since Samus' suit reaches all the way down to her DNA to function, how is it not also a power? I'll go ahead and include your ruling here for good measure:

You are welcome in my thread but given your lack of video game knowledge, you can't really offer anything of value to the current discussion.

@erik:
The Shields that things like Droidekas and such use only stop high velocity projectiles. Remember on Naboo how the tank fire couldn't penetrate the Gungan's shield but the slow moving battle droids just walked right through?

Loading Video...

This is because shields only stop high velocity things from getting through but not low velocity. EMP Grenades become popular weapons during the Clone Wars because Droideka shields couldn't stop them from being rolled through them just like the battle droids. It is the exact same situation only on a smaller scale. If the shields didn't matter to the EMP grenade then why did they have to use 3 EMP Grenades on 2 Droidekas? Why not just use 1 and hit them both? EMP Grenades have a 3 meter radius and previously took out at least 6 Battle Droids so it isn't a question of range. Why did they have to roll the grenades against the Droidekas when they just dropped them on the other droids. Ion Grenades on the other hand, could be used regardless of the shield.

Planetary Defense Ion Cannons like the one on Hoth are not city-sized, they are maybe the size of a shopping center. The Malevolence's Ion Cannon is also not city-sized as it is roughly the same size as the one on Hoth. Also, they don't destroy shields or punch through them, they ignore them completely. There is also no calibre of weapon that could punch through an Acclimator or ISD's shield that isn't a Death Star Super Laser or other such superweapon. Ion Cannons need not do that since they bypass shields entirely.

Why would there be 2 weapons platforms that have both EMP and Ion Weapons onboard? Why would the DEMP Gun include both EMP and Ion tech in it? Star Wars already has Ion Rifles and EMP Rifles separately so why combine them together if they do the same thing? You are effectively saying that Star Wars Engineers are massively stupid.

As it is, it appears as though you are actively denying anything that disproves your buddy's claims. We have 2 instances of Ion Weapons ignoring Shields and an instance of EMP grenades having to be rolled through a shield to work. You should need nothing more but whatever, Ferro is your friend.

@ferro_vida: Where are you getting that? The Ion Charge doesn't breach any power limits. Much like your Wave Beam can fire through materials, the Ion Charge emits energy that can pass through shielding of any type.

Your character does break some rules based upon Erik's rulings on what does and does not count as a power and an item. Though he'll probably just rule in your favor as always.

@cjdavis103: Okay, well that makes sense now. I thought they were two unrelated spells.

I think that Blink would function as a means of getting out of the rope. Even if it did not, I think Winterblast + Strength would allow him to get out. Wesker's reflexes and speed are quick enough to allow him to try both before you could hit him. GoR has used only 2 Blink's his Mana is fine.

Electricity will never take him by surprise, Kratos' dad is Zeus! What does Neural Disruption do?

Possession manipulates the nervous system. If Gamer Body can be effected by Overload, then it can be manipulated by Possession. It does work on all boss characters except those with hybrid nervous systems like Handymen (It is both Biological and Technological and possession seems to only be able to do one or the other not both.) and dimensionally empowered foes like Boys of Silence and the Wraith (They draw their power from Elizabeth meaning their nervous system is spread through multiple dimensions.). Now where things get interesting is the suicide function. Firemen do not commit suicide but they really can't anyway until their bombs are activated. Zealots of the Lady are an odd case, due to overconsumption of Murder of Crows, they can turn into a flight of crows and move to new positions. This likely confuses the Possession like Handymen do. None of those exceptions apply to the Cowboy. His nervous system functions exactly like a normal human who is susceptible.

Solid Snake has faced people with healing factors before but you are right, MGS will likely be taken by surprise. The problem is that the Cowboy had to draw the 3rd Gun in order to shoot himself. How quick do you think he could shake off Possession and trade out his current weapon.

The Outsider's Mark is not really magic. The fact that scientists in universe have figured out ways to counter it completely by playing its inverse note suggests that it is indeed some form of advanced technology. Either way, Pierro's Remedy is just a chemical mixture made of mundane enough stuff. It isn't magical and only serves to enhance one's mind. Effectively, the blue bar is your mental acuity. The suit already tracks your various medical stats so it could be used to determine your "mana bar."

Blink and Void Gaze, if managed correctly, take nothing from you while Bend Time only takes up a 3rd. I have used Bend Time and Void Gaze and Blink nearly simultaneously to take down an entire room before while only losing what Bend Time took from me. In addition, Daud's Blink has a time bending component. Cheapshot can also be hit with Stasis to slow him down if Arcane Creed is having trouble. Cheapshot isn't going to be cheapshotting anyone. :)

@lukehero: I didn't say that the Glitch was unbeatable in Cyberspace just that I don't think you could beat him there. Neo could have fled and you have that option here. This was all to determine whether or not you or he could hack into and control one another. While I don't think you could beat him, I don't think that your Nanites would allow themselves to be caught and controlled based upon Bloodshot's preference for stealth. You are still under your own control and the Glitch is still under his own control. The only thing that has changed is that the Glitch knows you are coming and you have no eyes inside.

@pr0metheus: What if the 3rd Gun was shot into your brain, could the 5th Gun heal you? Even if it were a status effect it would still mean you have no healing factor until the disease runs its course. How long does it take to do that by the way? Would it keep trying to eat away at the healing flesh in a tug of war?

@fu-dog007: @pr0metheus: @esquire: @cjdavis103: I'd get any last bits of information you want added in, I am about to do a game-wide update.

@ferro_vida: Chozo Tech is good but it is not better than all SWEU tech. Vong are easily as good at biotech as the Chozo are. Did you forget about the Vong?

Star Wars EMPs can hurt people. The DEMP Gun, I mentioned earlier was designed to hurt people in addition to machines. Though in reality most creatures are immune to EMPs because they function more like household batteries than electronic devices. Batteries, so long as they are not hooked into something, are immune to EMPs. At best, an EMP could cause whatever signal your brain sent to your body to be disrupted for less than a second but your brain would just send another.

Regardless of its cybernetic origins, Samus can be powered by GF, Space Pirate, and other various alien power sources. GF are nowhere near as advanced as the Chozo and are reliant on tech that would be affected by Ion Weapons. If it is compatible, it is susceptible. Ion Weapons also do quite a number on cybernetics like Samus has in her body. Most of your arsenal becomes completely useless upon being hit with an Ion Weapon until you can repair it. Star Wars Repairmen are trained to repair Ion Weapon Damage, can Black Panther especially when he is still engaged in a battle with Fetts? I don't think so.

Erik and Dane both ruled that Adamantium Skeletons where included in Wolverine's powerset despite it making no sense. Anyone choosing Wolverine's powerset automatically gets Adamantium Skeleton/Claws since Bone Claw Wolverine violates the Healing Factor rules. Erik has also stated that he would count Cable's cybernetics as a powerset rather than item and Cable's Cybernetics function exactly like how you describe Samus Aran. Looks like you have an invalid character with 2 powersets. Would Samus Aran's suit even work on someone without her biology?

Either way, Ion Weapons have completely ignored all shielding it has come across up into the Teraton range which is well beyond what is allowed here. Your tech should be disabled until it can be repaired.

@ferro_vida: EMPIon Mine, heck this one has both weapons in the name.

Shadow Droid

The Mine used the EMP as an AOE weapon while the Shadow Droid used the EMP as a focused attack. In fact, only things like EMP Grenades and EMP missiles and such were designed for AOE attacks and Ion weapons can also be designed to function as an AOE.

The DEMP Gun is actually a combination of Ion and EMP technology.

EMPs are relatively easy to create, even the technologically inferior Gungans were capable of making EMP weapons and we even have EMP weapons today which owes to its ease of creation. EMP shielding is also very simple to achieve as any Faraday Cage can help mitigate the effects. Since most ships in Star Wars use Durasteel or Duraplast as armor, it is likely that they form natural Faraday Cages when configured correctly. This is why things inside a ship's Faraday cage are largely safe from attack whereas most things outside of its Faraday Cage were vulnerable. This would explain why the Magpulse Warhead, the only form of ship mounted EMP weapon, only disabled the weapons mounted outside the ship. Maarek Stele used a Magpulse warhead and successfully disabled an enemy ship's weapons but the ship was still able to move and use its ship's systems. Stele ended up using an Ion Cannon to completely incapacitate the ship. The Ion Cannon on Hoth in TESB was able to completely incapacitate an Imperial Star Destroyer in just a couple shots. All systems from engines, to weapons, to sensors were rendered inoperable by Ion Cannons whereas the best an EMP weapon could hope to achieve is disabling its exterior mounted weapons. Ion Cannons should be able to defeat any shielding that is designed to stop an EMP.

@fetts: EMPIon Mines have both EMP Generators and Ion Cannons incorporated. The Shadow Droid also featured both EMP and Ion Cannons. If they weren't different it would make no sense to employ both weapons. EMP and Ion Weapons are different weapons in the Star Wars universe. EMPs are generally cheaper weapons but rarely can disable more advanced systems due to shielding. Ion Cannons don't give a crap about shielding

@dextersinister:
That is not her power though, that is a power granted by the Soul Sword. Amanda Sefton demonstrated the same power when she had it in her possession. If the Soul Sword could so easily be summoned back to her then why is it being stolen from her such a prominent part of Magik-centric stories? The Sword was originally created to be used by someone other than Illyana Rasputin. Her mutant ability is the ability to create portals which is what you chose.

Now you have successfully teleported in 40 or so TO Virus Infected Civilians, what is your plan to deal with them?

@fu-dog007: @pr0metheus: @esquire: @cjdavis103:

So Bind functions differently from Mana Rope? Why did you use it to support Bind then? Do you have more scans of Bind being applied?

There is never an instance when someone needed to Blink out of clothes but given that you don't bring water along with you when Blinking through water, it definitely suggests that it doesn't carry anything that the user doesn't want Blunked. Showings against intangible things doesn't really mean much against teleporters. The Ebony Blade can cut through Kitty Pryde but won't even slow down Nightcrawler teleporting.

Overload is of no use against GoR. Electric Flesh cuts down electrical damage to 25% and with Wesker's durability. Your Overload isn't going to even phase him.

Possession isn't a mental attack, it is purely physical as it works on machines. The Sickness Gun may cancel out his healing factor entirely in the future depending on how voracious it is in comparison to the healing factor of the 5th Gun. I just need to see how effective both guns are to determine how injured Cowboy is.

Do you not think that the other Cerberi got the same 30 day training time that you did? They got the advantage of training with one another so any gaps in knowledge could be supplied by the others. Isaac's Suit has a built in HUD so he'd be able to see how he is doing on focus.

Cheapshot isn't fast enough to hit someone using Bend Time and neither are you or your Gnome. Arcane Creed has 12 seconds to your 1 second in this battle. Gladiator seems like an impressive feat but his powers fluctuate based upon his mental state. When Gambit "surprised" him, the shock slowed and weakened him. Bullseye has no real feats hitting teleporters though he is a marksman above reproach in most cases.

@lukehero: What do you think beating Neo was? Taking candy from a baby? Neo is a bonafide technopath. Smith owned him pretty handily and was able to take over Human bodies which is a rarity among AIs. Ax's Robot and Interface was poorly designed. Anyone who designs a machine to be able to produce feedback through the interface is just stupid. Bloodshot took down an idiot who built an inferior robot. Also, that guy has never met a machine that could lie which means that Ax hasn't really had his technopathic abilities tested.

The two guys he took down underwater have the same tech installed. The Nanites themselves are not intelligent, they just run programs. They also both had human limitations which the Glitch does not.

The Glitch does not have to "physically" touch you just like Smith never physically touched Neo until he took over Bane's body and blinded him. Up until then they had never been in the same "real" room as one another. The same thing is happening here, you aren't fighting in the real world, you are fighting in Cyberspace. None of your physical abilities are of any value in this battle. Vertigo's powers, Black Knight's Armor, Bloodshot's molecular nanotechnology are all real world objects that provide nothing in this battle.

@dextersinister:
Anyone who wields the Soul Sword can summon it from within them or wherever they have stored it. Kitty, Nightcrawler, and Amanda Sefton have all possessed the Soul Sword. As the Soul Sword is an item not required for her powers, it is not something you could use here. Much like Wolverine and Ballistic had their implants removed because they were items as opposed to powers. The Soul Sword is not a power, it is an item.

You still have teleportation powers, they are just not as potent or effective especially considering you have no training using them.

@pr0metheus: @esquire: @fu-dog007: @cjdavis103:

Hold on, he actually launches the Mana Rope from his hand? I thought it was like a spell. What speed feats does Bind have? Has it been evaded or blocked?

If it has no feats against teleportation then you have no basis for suggesting that it could hold him. Daud only teleports that which he chooses to teleport in a Blink. For instance, you can teleport out of water and onto land and bring none of the water with you. Considering that Corvo's Possession is basically Blinking into someone's body, I have doubts that Bind could stop someone from just blinking out of them.

I still see nothing stopping GoR from just freezing the rope and breaking it should you be able to produce something stating that teleportation is not possible.

Cheapshot is busy taking on the Whalers upon your entry into the Hospital. He won't be able to protect you from Arcane Creed.

I assumed that your Gnome was busy keeping the Hostages at bay given her directive to help them escape. If that is not the case then you have more issues than just the 13 guys attacking you.

Daud does not have Possession as his powers are different from Corvo's powers so it is not him using Possession but rather Metal Gear Shock using the Vigor, Possession. It fires a spectral force that overtakes someone's nervous system. Possession causes you to fight your friends and then commit suicide. If Cowboy can't survive his own weapons, he may very well die or be weakened. The only way to fight Possession is with dimensional powers and hybrid nervous systems none of which does Cowboy possess.

Arcane Bond, the power that Daud has used to empower his Whalers, does not draw upon his own power but the power of wielder. This means that everyone should be able to Blink without draining Arcane Creed's power. Daud's passive boosts drain nothing from him. The only powers that are draining him now are Bend Time and Blink. With correct resource management, of which Ezio is a master, he should be able to make minimal use of power. Blink also doesn't drain anything as long as you put some time between them.

You throw up a rock wall or whatever and Creed'll just knock it down with the Contact Beam.

Gnome's rock hand can't violate the 50 lbs TK limit so if it can hold GoR it is out.

@lukehero: Your feats are impressive but they all detail him only defeating mindless machines. Smith operates different from every AI that Bloodshot has ever taken on. He doesn't just send commands to the machines and the machines carry them out. He literally merges his programming with theirs and carries them out himself. Every single entity under the Glitch's control is the Glitch. So when you try and hack that Camera, you are actually trying to hack the Glitch and he can call upon his other iterations to join him in this fight so you aren't just fighting one Glitch, you are fighting multiple Glitches across all of the platforms that he is in.

Based upon the wording, Bloodshot wasn't sure he could actually subvert the programming, if Neo could not subvert Smith alone and the 01 could not subvert Smith alone, what makes you think that Bloodshot could? It took hundreds or thousands of AIs in addition to the One to take down Smith. Smith isn't like any other AI Bloodshot has ever encountered.

This is basically what we have here:

Loading Video...

As good as Neo is, he ultimately has to lose in order to win. You are going at this solo, you don't have the 01 to back you up. I don't foresee you being able to take him so easily. Your best bet in this case is to shutdown your ability to broadcast. Smith is the ultimate Virus, he gets his hands on you for long enough and he'll have you.

@pr0metheus: Malefic's TP was removed until MMH restored it by removing the mental block installed in him by the Council of Mars. Malefic currently has access to standard Martian Telepathy.
