Ugh, why does Greg Land still have a job? Looks like I won't be picking up Uncanny.

If this is an event, Marvel can f%^& right off. So sick of all the events. If this is a new series... and better yet, a new Iron Fist on-going, then I will be a much, much happier camper.

for everyone saying that everything Loeb writes is horrible or that they won't read this because Loeb is writing it. What about Batman: Dark Victory, Batman: Long Halloween, Batman: Hush, Daredevil: Yellow, Hulk: Gray, Catwoman: When in Rome, Spider-man: Blue, Superman: For All Seasons?  How can you say that everything he writes is bad when he has these classics under his belt?
Sure, how long ago did he write any of those?

For every classic you mentioned there (which, a couple could be argued whether they even are or not considered "classics"), I can name a giant turd he has written well AFTER those books. Personally, I love Daredevil: Yellow, and think Spidey: Blue is pretty great, and while I don't really see what the huge fuss about Long Halloween is to this day, even as a huge bat-fan, I admit it's quite good. But, once again, these books are old. Loeb has been producing not just mediocre or even poor, but some AWFUL stuff since (he nearly killed the Ultimate line - and indeed did, in a sense, for many.)

I don't see anyone here explicitly arguing that Loeb hasn't written anything that is generally considered "good" or even "classic" in the past. Fact of the matter, though, is that much of what he has written for the better half of this last decade has been received with mixed to overwhelmingly negative response. Therefore, it is not at all unreasonable for anyone to be less than enthused or optimistic about a project he's working on (especially one where it appears he may be taking on the task "resurrecting" a popular character.)

If LOEB is on the book, I want nothing to do with it. Yuck. Hoping it's a character I couldn't care less about.

Where's Tim and Steph? And Batman Inc.? While we don't have all the facts yet, this is making me very sad.

What makes you say that? I think it's one of the better books out there (coming out of the Big 2/caped comics, anyway.)

" never read the graphic novels...but that still doesn't erase the fact that it was pretty stupid when that black women stayed to die with the Doctor...it wasn't believable at all...as a loving husband why would you allow your wife to stay and die...I would have knocked that bitch out and put her over my shoulder...the end "
Loving husband? You mean T-Dog (the black man in the group)? That wasn't her husband. I can't really blame you for thinking that though. We never (to my knowledge) ever even learned her name, and she never got any development throughout the 4 episodes we saw her in. Then you have that moment where T-Dog and her kinda just stare at each other before they go their separate ways, so if one didn't know better they might assume there was some extra connection there. And then of course being the same race might give an extra boost of thought that they're a couple (even though that may seem racist to some ((IMO, stupid)) people.)

Why they had that moment between the two at the end is beyond me. There could be numerous reasons. Problem is, the season was only six episodes and things were naturally rushed and condensed so there were bound to be some things that we just didn't all wrap up or make sense perfectly (though one could argue that the writers could have done a bit better, in the case like the one we're discussing.)

I trade wait ALL my books. The waiting part really does suck, especially when you are looking for a paperback and have to wait nearly a year sometimes for a book that is first released as a hardcover (which seems to be more and more these days, unfortunately... I mean, why is Streets of Gotham released in HC? Red Robin, Batgirl, even "Batman" (collected issues of 'Tec or what not) are released in soft.)

Waiting forever for Green Lantern books to come to softcover really, really sucks. Can you believe the Agent Orange arc only just recently became a softcover?

But, for a multitude of reasons, I don't nor ever plan to pick up singles, so patient is what I will have to be.
