No he isn't...

It's just that most of his good feats involve plot devices of some sort.

Some of them are just outrageous and don't make sense...

Then again the vine is almost filled by six year olds who have no idea what they are saying so I'm not surprised most people think his feats are legit prep time feats.

Thats just my two cents...

It's a different take on the character in my opinion. If they made him a bit less cringe worthy I'd say he'd even make a good Lex.

Sure it's not like he was going to win or anything as it was clear that the fight would be over pretty quick if Mera didn't be an obstacle to Clark.

Yeah Clark probably held back far more than Arthur I agree with that too. But for me it was an impressive feat for Arthur.
