Darkseid's hits didn't damage the suit a lot actually... The only reason Bruce's life energy went down was because of the poisoning he received from the chaos shard.
In fact you can see how the suit is fine when Bruce flies away with his son. But Darkseid is left in smokes dazed to the point that he simply lets them get away...
I mean you can't just say Darkseid's hits were destroying Bruce.. The only thing he did close to damaging the suit was to rip the wings apart which simply got attached back to his spine anyways..
And these are all considering the fact that Batman's main priority wasn't even fighting Darkseid. He was more focused on retrieving his son that he allowed himself to get cheap shotted twice. Despite these he still made a fool of both Darkseid and Kalibak.
Also you should stop trying to make a case for the Eradicator instance. I mean it is foolish to lowball the suit based on a fight where Lois friggin Lane used it.
Not to mention Eradictor being a very dangerous enemy anyways...
The only notable feats of the Hellbat are getting stomped by Darkseid and getting stomped by an amped Eradicator. That's not good enough to be a factor.
You must have a really different definition of a stomp than I do...
The fight wasn't even concluded... I know Darkseid would have won if they kept on fighting but the suit still proved to be good enough to take a few hits from Darkseid despite being damaged by the chaos shard and actually faze him with punches.
Considering Darkseid's level of power in the new 52 the Hell Bat had a pretty good showing.
It took the entire league to push Darkseid through a boom tube. When you compare it to that making Darkseid stutter and actually moving him with punches isn't a bad showing.
Superman also took on Darkseid in the N52 when the league fought him and didn't do any better than the Hell Bat.
In fact it is similar how they both get beaten by Darkseid. Both got bear hugged and all...
If it makes it any clearer, current Superman or any other member of the league would get stomped by Darkseid. He's a team buster for a reason. So Hell Bat getting stomped by Darkseid does not make it a non factor. If it does ten that means every single member of the league is also a non factor.
What about it?. Beating two dozen men is impressive, but he didn't beat them all at the same time and he used quite a bit of gadgets and the environment to take them out one by one. Bucky is definitely capable of doing that. When he did try to fight them simultaneously, he was hit, slashed and kicked on the floor multiple times. Bucky never had that problem when facing a similar number of combatants in close quarters. Then there is that cybernetic arm of his, which has overpowered Cap, caved in the pavement etc and other feats that put him above whatever Bruce has shown. And that is ignoring the high end feats.
He used his gadgets true. But he still has teem as standard gear and can also use them against Bucky. Well you can't simply compare them based on how they did against fodder enemies. Maybe it was just that Lex's men were more skilled than the fodder Bucky fought. The warehouse scene gave us enough info on how Batfleck has solid physicals (crate tosses) and how he can be ruthless in a fight. Also him getting slashed didn't even put him danger at all. Bucky has gone through more close calls than that.
Also the metallic arm isn't something that wold be a threat either. Especially considering all the gadgets Batfleck has at his disposal such as batarangs, explosives, scramblers etc.
Except he did it when wearing his exosuit. Now I know people will inevitably point out how that suit does not increase his strength just because Snyder said so, but I call BS on that one. Mostly owing to the fact that he has never displayed strength anywhere close to that in the whole movie. That or he was using a really powerful grappling hook.
Well you can't simply call BS on that. Does it make sense? No. But Snyder stated it and I'd rather take his word over yours... So deal with it. The suit is only protective which means Batfleck's physicals are on a whole other level compared to Bucky.
Nah, he would lose a majority
It is generally accepted that Battfleck is at least Cap level which means he would not lose to Bucky.
With way superior physicals and loser morals, Batfleck would gain a very solid majority.
