"What's you name?" Dex's voice boomed with an authoritative yet calming inflection, his feet heavy heavy in chains and shackles grinded against the splintering wood, no source of natural or unnatural light suffused this scene, only the sound of his own voice, the voice of this panicky stranger and the creaky swing of the dull rusted hanging light permeated his seemingly battered ears.

"Tell me who you are, what your name is and why you're here?" This wasn't Dex's first time being kidnapped but it was definitely the latest, the one he was most prepared for and the one where he would prove himself to himself and everyone else he can break out from his dad's legacy, except if this was because of his dad, which is a high probability. His face was covered in sweat, enough to burn his eyes and seep into his mouth, he assumed maybe he had been drugged, although ruling out psychological trauma, physical pain and forced or unforced ingestion of narcotics would be incredibly stupid. "Yo guy in the dark, spill it, give me your name!"

Dexter is shocked for a split second by the receptionist's surprisingly nonchalant attitude, he dismisses the exchange silently and decides to explore the rest of the glass tower on his own. He approaches a long stretch on hallways filled with stuffy board rooms and empty desks. "Hello?" his voice echoes but to no effect, "I'm looking for a guy called @quintus_knightfall, anybody?" He keeps moving down the corporate labyrinth,

I just realised I've left Dex walking around the halls for about two weeks...

@cecily_sage: Dex slid the sunglasses concealing his identity of his face enough to make eye contact with the inexplicably lethargic receptionist, leaning intimately on the table he speak quietly, too softly to here but definitely too faint for any prying eyes "Dexter Stark..." he wasn't sure if the receptionist even heard him, he placidly waved his arm.

I don't like where those footsteps lead, I'll make my own.
