We human beings aspire to be loved, but is love worth to kill for? For these villians, love is worth everything, even killing half of the living beings of the universe.

Mr Freeze was my first favourite villian (I never liked the Joker), not only he was stronger than Batman, but I felt bad for him, I felt that he deserved his revenge, everything was taken from him, even his wife, Nora. She would be his only motivation for all his life.

Thanos' motivation is not the lust of power, or just for evil's sake, he does everything for love, or rather devotion for Death. But always unable to win her cold heart.

Harley is a sad character, she became a villian for pity, and then love, for the Joker, a monster who manipulated her in order to escape from Arkham Asylum. Most of her life he would abuse her, but she would still love him, and do everything for him, she would even kill for him.

Enchantress is not a villian for love, rather she is a villian for the lack of love, because she would never win Thor's heart.

Now, these guys are... well, they are not "evil-evil", but they are kind of terrible people; just assholes. A broken heart is cappable of terrible things, I guess.
