Intro

Biography

That f*ckin nobody... is John Wick. He once was an associate of ours. They call him Baba Yaga. But John wasn't exactly the Boogeyman. He was the one you sent to kill the f*cking Boogeyman. John is a man of focus, commitment, sheer will... something you know very little about. I once saw him kill three men in a bar... with a pencil, with a f*cking pencil. Then suddenly one day he asked to leave. It's over a woman, of course. So I made a deal with him. I gave him an impossible task. A job no one could have pulled off. The bodies he buried that day laid the foundation of what we are now. And then my son, a few days after his wife died, you steal his car and kill his fucking dog.

Vision (MCU) Respect Thread

Vision

"A thing isn't beautiful because it lasts"

Key: Feats are ordered chronologically (release date)

Intro

Biography:

Vision is a vibranium synthezoid, initially being created by Ultron with the help of Helen Cho to be a more powerful body for Ultron to use. The Avengers however, attacked Ultron and stole the body, though Ultron was able to install his mind into the body before he fled. Rather than destroying the body, Tony Stark insisted they reprogram Vision using JARVIS (Stark's former AI System). When this was done, and the body was designed, Thor summoned a bolt of lightning to bring the body to life.

When live, Vision declared he was neither Ultron nor Jarvis, but rather something that was never intended to be:

"He must be destroyed. Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net. We have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I were one. I'm not what you are, and not what you intended."

Vision later began to evolve into something much more than what his programming outlined, with him beginning to feel emotions and empathy, most notably towards Wanda Maximoff. During Thanos' quest to obtain all the Infinity Stones he murdered Vision and took the Mind Stone from him, something Wanda hasn't really recovered from.

Leading on from this, Wanda went on to recreate Vision using her memories of him and chaos magic, she telepathically controlled a city and used her reality warping powers to alter the city however she wanted. S.W.O.R.D (a government agency for dealing with unordinary / extraterrestrial threats) decided to take action, they reprogrammed and repaired Vision's actual dead body with the task to neutralize Wanda and the Vision she created, this body is commonly referred to by fans (but never in the show) as WhiteVision.

When WhiteVision confronted the Vision Wanda created in Westview, he was convinced of some flaws in what his programming intended for him to do and what he was actually doing, Vision then transfers memories from all the events Vision has been through into WhiteVision's mind, who then declares that he is indeed Vision, and flies away swiftly.

Ultimately, Wanda is convinced by the freed people of WestView (who Agatha freed) and Vision that what she was doing is immoral, and she set the city free and reluctantly rid herself of the Vision she created.

DC Movie Tier List

Live Action DC

No Caption Provided

The next installment in my Tier List Series is Live Action DC Movies, note there are a few that I missed that I haven't watched (Superman 3 & 4 for example), and remember this is just my opinion.

PS: I'm working on a DC Animated Film Tier List too, so I'll drop that at some point but there's still a couple of films I need to see before I do.

Unavailable on Website: Watchmen - would put it in B Tier. WW84 - would put it in C Tier.

I've compiled this list on my personal ranking of Pixar Movies. However, not all Pixar Movies were included, as there's a few I haven't seen (The Good Dinosaur, Brave, Onward) so this won't be a complete list.

MCU/DCEU Ultimate Power Tier List

MCU / DCEU

No Caption Provided

Obviously, this tier list will not include every single character to appear in the MCU/DCEU, but rather those I deemed appropriate for this list (assuming I didn't forget anyone). I missed out a few like Incubus / Enchantress and some SS members because it's been too long since I've seen SS, don't really remember much and don't plan on ever rewatching it.

Tier List

Justification

No. 1

Don't think anyone refutes Dormammu's status as the most powerful MCU character given the stateements from Guidebooks and whatnot on his power.

S+ Tier

Everyone on this tier generally just has too much raw power for anyone below to put down, even if most on this tier lack versatility.

S Tier

Superman is too fast for the majority of this list and will beat anyone here assuming he can put them down, Doomsday is flat out shown as superior though and despite Clark's potential speed upgrade he still can't put DD down. Zeus lacks on screen feats but his Lightning instantly separating the Motherboxes and the fact he "created" Themyscira should put him up near the top.

A Tier

Ronan was at the top purely because he has the Power Stone and he tanked the Hadron Enforcer's blast, I can see the argument for him being in the S tier, but he does lack on screen damage output feats. Someone like Clark could easily take his Hammer from him too.

The rest is pretty self explanatory given there's In Universe scaling for these placements (apart from Thor > Carol, which you can read my full views on here).

Was hesitant to put Zod here because I'd take Kurse or Hulk over him, but his Super Speed made things tricky, as he'd still blitz and one shot Wanda or Strange and his Speed would prove tricky for anyone on this tier.

B Tier

Kurse, Hulk and Iron Man should all be pretty close at this point comparing their respective performances against similar powered characters IU. Steppenwolf and Diana have the skill and speed advantage over the three aforementioned characters, but are physically inferior, hence their placement on the same tier. Nam Ek and Faora are watered down versions of Zod, they're generally the weakest on this tier but too powerful to go in the tier below.

C Tier

Ares and the Ancient One are pretty impressive but Ares has already lost to a weaker version of a character in B tier, and Ancient One lacks combat feats. I can see why people would put her in the tier above given how she treated Hulk, but that was a tamed and off guard Hulk, so I'm not sure how applicable that is.

Aquaman is placed here under the assumption he's on land, hence his foes being placed right next to him given the general parity between them.

D Tier

The best on this tier are undeniably the Wizards who have proven competent against foes like Cull Obsidian, etc. The rest are either pretty fast, have some decent hax or a solid assortment of Tech, i.e Vulture, Star Lord, Yellowjacket.

E Tier

The lowest of mid tiers, Guardians have mostly been unimpressive and others here have been challenged by those in the tier below (while still coming off as superior though).

F Tier

Pretty much all the street levelers, they probably aren't all in the same tier if we looked exclusively at street tier but the gaps aren't enough to warrant a separate tier considering the scale of the list.

The Mandalorian (Star Wars) Respect Thread

The Mandalorian

Part I: Intro

Din Djarin is was raised from childhood as a Mandalorian and served for years under the guidelines of the Bounty Hunters Guild as one of the finest Bounty Hunters in the Galaxy. His story truly began when he was tasked with either exterminating a baby of Yoda's species, or delivering it to an order built from the remains of the Empire. His morals prevented him from following through with this, in doing so he had broken the rules of the Bounty Hunters Guild, and was labelled as a target, as Din's connection to Grogu (Baby Yoda) grew stronger, he started to lose a lot of what he previously stood for: examples include breaking the Bounty Hunters Guild rules as mentioned, and taking off his mask (which is against the rules of the creed that he's part of) to see Grogu without a mask on, this was the ultimatum of his character arc.

He said you were the best in the parsec.

Mando dons a Full Mandalorian Armor made of Beskar Steel, one of the toughest materials in the Star Wars universe. This is supported by many showings, most notably it's well known resistance to Lightsabers, as stated in the "Ultimate Star Wars Reference Book". But now, also supported by feats, as Mando effectively parried strikes from Ahsoka Tano using his Beskar Gauntlets:

Black Noir (The Boys) Respect Thread

Black Noir

Intro

No Caption Provided

Black Noir is the Ninja of The Seven, the Abilities gifted to Noir via Compound V are primarily super strength and heightened senses. However, Noir isn't reliant on his Powers in the slightest. He's a Master Martial Artist, Expert of Stealth and proficient with Bladed Weaponry. Noir's lack of exploitable personal affiliates, only adds to how good he is as an Assassin.

As it currently stands, his name, age, origin and so on are completely unknown. I, personally do not believe they're going the comic route with Black Noir either, given how pretty much everyone knows of it by now, as well as how powerful Black Noir is portrayed.
