He is underrated due to just how well he embodies the character. I was thinking about it for a while, and man... he does a better job at capturing the spirit of Cap than even the comics do at times.

In the comics, Cap can feel a little overwhelming at times - my way is the best way. And though he's usually right, it almost feels forced. Comparatively, Chris Evans's Captain America feels way more humble - like he's just trying to do the right thing, but he doesn't necessarily know he's right.

Less of your pastor, and more of a regular guy who you could be friends with. He really sells it, imo. I think he's the actually best in the comic-to-movie transition (yes, even better than RDJ Stark).
