The whole point of Blackest Night was to establish that dead is dead in the DC Universe. That said, has the New 52 done anything with Lazarus Pits yet? I figure that's how they'll eventually bring Damian back without technically cheating, if they're going to bring him back.

I swear, Grant Morrison did everything in his power to ruin Jason Todd in that arc. He gave him orange hair and claimed Batman made him dye it black when he was Robin. Why would Batman do that?! Plus he got this goofy costume, which I kind of like, but when compared to his insanely awesome Batman costume, it just doesn't hold up. Still, it's cool to see a Red Hood figure.

I think it's a bit weird that the turtles look nothing like they do in the show (aside from details like the crack in Raph's shell). I mean, their design is perfect for toys! Maybe they had to do the sculpts before the characters were finalized.

I want Firestar and Starfire. The name might be a little tricky to come up with, though...

@MP_SimonWilliams: That's the case with every masked superhero. Toby Maguire took his mask off (or it was torn off in a fight) countless times. It's the single biggest reason they aren't making a Deadpool movie. Not only does Hollywood need bankable actors who people can actually see, but the audience needs to actually see the actor act.

No, it doesn't always make sense but Peter Parker crying/yelling/anything that involves actual emotion is a lot more effective if you can see his face and, most importantly, his eyes... That's why Batman wears that ridiculous eye makeup in stead of just having them white.

I prefer early Sandman. Because he wasn't really a bad guy. He was a man in a bad situation and he wanted to help his daughter, which is totally justifiable in anyone's mind. I'm sure people with children can attest they would do anything for their kids, even joining ranks with 5 weirdos to take down a man dressed as a spider. But, at the same time, he turns into sand, and (as anyone who's gotten sand in their shoes or clothes knows) sand is evil -- It's nature's glitter!

Is it just me, or does Wonder Woman have an 80's hairstyle thing going on in this figure?
