This is a list of Wonder Woman arcs or issues that displayed what I think give insight to my favorite character. If I was asked to give future Wonder Woman writers a list of comics to read, this is it!

My favorite modern age Wonder Woman story. Simone showed an immense love for the character and her history throughout the entire story and I believe that is one of the reasons why she's THE quintessential modern day Wonder Woman writer and expert. This four issue arc gave a fresh and interesting retelling of Diana's origin. However, the story does not focus on how Wonder Woman was born, but on how her birth affected the Amazons. In doing so, Simone highlights Dianas background- the Amazons and the mysticism-without having the greek mythology drown the character world out, like many before. With an army of genetically enhanced apes, invisible tech, and magical seashells, Simone captured the fun and cooky of the Golden Age comics, giving the character the distinct mood she'd been missing. Overall, The Circle seamlessly weaves together multiple narratives into an intricate plot that tells a story of motherly love, jealousy, and triumph. Marston would approve.
