All-Time Favorite Fictional Characters

A list of my all-time favorites from fiction. All of these characters represent awesomeness in their own ways and that's why they all deserve to be on this list.

List items

  • The Bad Boy/Rebel Robin turned vigilante Red Hood.

  • The Batman of the TV series Supernatural. He has so many sides to his personality and 11 years on the air gave him incredible growth as a character.

  • "Freedom is the Right of all Sentient Beings."

  • The Flash of my generation. The Playboy Flash! The most relatable Flash to me. Wally was taken from us in the New 52, but has made his grand return in DC Rebirth. His JL animated version was so cool and fun-loving.

  • The Punisher inspires fear in the criminal underworld.

  • The Boy from the Future. He saw the terrors of an apocalypse ravaged by the Red Ribbon Androids...and now has to confront Black Goku, who has brought new horrors to his timeline. An awesome character whose first appearance was my favorite in all of Dragon Ball history. You probably know so I don't have say no more.

  • The First Robin turned Nightwing turned Batman turned Agent 37. An evolution that wows me and his animated versions were memorable.

  • The Goddamn Batman! The Caped Crusader! The Dark Knight! The World's Greatest Detective!

  • Scooby Dooby Doo!!!! One of my early favorites. Scooby is the best dog anybody can have because he is friendly, helpful, and offers companionship. Give him some scooby snacks in return for the love of Man's Best Friend.

  • Cap's a big inspiration that makes me proud to be an American citizen. Patriotism. Courage. Moral Righteousness.

  • My Boomstick. The King. Hail to him baby!

  • The Greatest Adventurer of all time is the globe trotting Indy. Movies, series, comics..he has them all. A guy that is determined to get the artifact.

  • It can't rain all the time. - Eric Draven/The Crow

  • The King of Wakanda. T'Challa embodies honor and loyalty to his country and is one of the smartest men in the Marvel universe. His MCU version was terrific and his badassery with skill and mind allow him to round out the Top Ten.

  • The Daywalker. The half-vamp hybrid who has dedicated his life to fighting the supernatural world of terrifying creatures that would scare the average person. His live action counterpart is one of the most badass in all of live action.

  • Former Police Officer turned Leader and Master Survivalist of a Zombie Apocalypse. His leadership, character, and morals are high points in making Deputy Grimes a relatable character and one heck of a badass in live-action.

  • The Prince of the Saiyan race. Arrogant, prideful, determined. Vegeta's interesting personality makes him a treasure to the Dragon Ball universe.

  • The Wolverine of the TMNT. I like him for showing ferocity and aggressiveness to every fight he takes. Twin sais isn't bad to have for a turtle.

  • He is neither Kami nor Piccolo. He is a Namekian who has long since forgotten his name. Once striving to be like his father, Piccolo embraced the side of good and was an important ally against the Saiyans, Frieza, and the Androids.

  • The Definition of Pure Evil. Michael killed his older sister, Judith, when he was only six. After escaping from the hands of Dr. Loomis, Michael then spent the rest of his life trying to kill his younger sister, Laurie, and anyone else who got in his way.

  • The Original Green Lantern, who wields a lantern ring of magical nature.

  • While Gohan's become a shell of his former self, his kid and teenage versions were the best of all heroes in Dragon Ball Z

  • A man who sold his soul to the Devil to save a loved one is extremely emotional. It shows anyone would do whatever it takes to save the ones you love. Becoming an agent of Vengeance is the Ghost Rider's duty and some of us would become the Rider if it meant saving our loved ones.

  • Megtratronus. The Leader of the Decepticons.

  • The Futuristic Batman. The Batman of Tomorrow has arrived.

  • No, it was originally Deathstroke the Terminator. The evil Batman. One of his greatest villains is also one of my all-time favorites.

  • Formerly Anakin Skywalker, but he turned to the Dark Side of the Force.

  • Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is probably the most relatable superhero whose origin was also marred by tragedy. But this kid always saw the light at the end of the tunnel and became the face of Marvel IMO.

  • Has the wisdom of Yoda along with the fighting prowess of Windu, Kenobi went from student to teacher and has the respect of so many in the Star Wars Universe.

  • The Leader of the TMNT. The Captain America of the TMNT. He has all the qualities of a leader.

  • Kyle wielded all of the power rings from the entire emotional spectrum. Badass!

  • Kakarot. An origin similar to Superman's. A pure-hearted Saiyan who was revolutionary in the DB universe, Goku's the Man.

  • He lives in a Pineapple in the Underwater City of the Bikini Bottom. His show has become one of the most recognizable and one of the greatest in the past 25 years. Everyone would recognize SpongeBob anywhere. He's that iconic and a fun loving character.

  • A villain who desires the hero to go faster and faster. How unique.

  • One of the most respected Jedi in all of history, Windu died trying to put an end to tyranny. A martyr among the Jedi Knights.

  • The Last Son of Mars. Losing all your family is tragic. For J'onn, he literally lost everything, including his homeworld of Mars.

  • The Playboy known as Tony Stark. Badass mentally and physically, and his invention of the Iron Man armor/alter ego is revolutionary and awesome sight to see in live-action.

  • A Vietnam War veteran turned superhero, James "Rhodey" Rhodes is the perfect sidekick to Iron Man and even went on to make a name for himself as War Machine and Iron Patriot. A true badass in his own right.

  • The Definitive Green Lantern. Air Force Pilot turned Intergalactic military police officer. Sounds pretty cool!

  • An FBI Agent who witnessed his sister get abducted by aliens when they were little. Fox Mulder has since spent his life to finding what happened to her and who was behind it.

  • The wisest of all Jedi.

  • SHAZAM!!!! Billy says the magic word and he becomes the World's Mightiest Mortal.

  • Speedy. Arsenal. Red Arrow. Character growth and determination = Roy Harper

  • The coolest of the TMNT, Mikey provides comic relief to the team, but is an expert fighter that can't be overlooked.

  • He was picked on and drowned by his peers at Camp Crystal Lake. He came back to terrorize those who enter his domain. Jason is a sympathetic character who feels the need to kill because of a tragic childhood.

  • The Green Goblin. A very evil version of Batman if you ask me.

  • Impulse. Kid Flash. The Flash. He was them all.

  • An interesting Spidey villain who later became Spidey himself.

  • Arguably Spider-Man's greatest and most notorious villain in his rogue galley, Eddie Brock is everything Spider-Man isn't.

  • DCAU version made John Stewart mainstream and likable.

  • Agent Dana Scully. Medical Doctor and FBI Agent. She's no ordinary woman for sure.

  • Beautiful and Dangerous. A pretty hot combo from Deathstroke's daughter.

  • The smartest of the Robins. Later became Red Robin. Not a bad independent alter ego.

  • The strongest of Batman's children, Cassie is something else.

  • Similar to Tim Drake, but to the TMNT, Donnie is the brains behind the group.

  • Clint's an absolute marksman with the bow and arrow. His MCU version is too.

  • He's going to be portrayed by the Rock. Nuff said.

  • MOTHER! He killed his mom and ran the Motel that would serve as his killing site. Don't mess with Mother.

  • Only the DCAU version really, but she embodies female empowerment to the core like Wonder Woman.
