- Pacers are like the Pistons in the early 2000's, lots of talent but no superstar, you look at the roster and then their record and ask WTF? They will likely go down but nowhere near as easy as many expect

- Lakers are 1 game away from being blown up, even if they win I do not see them getting deep.

- I'm right, your wrong, and society should worship me

- In all seriousness, right and wrong is a sea of shades of grey depending on the subject and the situation surrounding it.

Robotech was outstanding, and the 80s comic adaption was probably the first comic book series I bought on the regular.

- Robotech was one of my absolute favorites while growing up, it has kind of stagnated for the most part since then.

- The Macross anime it was based upon had had some really good newer material, Macross Plus is the best thing they ever did, and Macross Zero is also very good.

It certainly seems to have stagnated, but I think the story was completed. They didn't have anywhere else to go with the story.

That, and the fact that they ran out of anime that they could incorporate into it.

- Robotech was put together and redubbed from 3 unrelated anime series, but was left wide open to continuation using new animation. There have been a couple of tries but none were very good, the company that holds the rights (Harmony Gold) seem almost incapable of getting anything done with it.

I thought that Robotech II was alright, and probably would have been a decent series if it hadn't been canceled after three episodes or whatever.

- I thought Robotech II was terrible myself, the recent movie Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles was only so-so.

- There is talk of a live action Robotech movie, but that's going to be a hard IP to translate into film, there are lots of people who love it out of nostalgia, but its so old now newer people looking back are unlikely to be as impressed.

- IRL I have played poker for over 20 years, cash games and tournaments, and for significant stakes. Unless you have played against quality opponents for years and/or have read the books and studies that discuss the mathematical and psychological strategy to the game, you have no idea what your talking about.

- Poker is a game of skill, yes there is chance and luck involved, but there is zero question that skill determines who wins or loses in the long term. This is not my opinion alone, it has been researched to death at this point. Feel free to look into it on your own and not take my word for it, most of it makes sense if you have even basic knowledge of probability and statistics.

- Unlike blackjack, craps, etc the game is not designed to give a house edge, (meaning you may win in the short term, but in the long term you are destined to lose closer to a statistically determined amount the more you play). Luck will affect you in the short term, but in the long term it is irrelevant as it affects everyone in the game the same in the long term.

- If you are better than your opponents and play enough hands to lower the variance from luck (the more you play the more it evens out) you will win more than you lose based on your skill. 90% of people who play poker lose money or break even, 9% are good enough to make a small profit, the top 1% are the only ones making any real money. (Even the top 1% have a wide gap in what they can make based on a number of factors).

- If you have no idea what you are doing than luck is the biggest factor on if you win or lose in the short term as you really are just throwing money in the pot with no plan. If you are an expert player you will learn how to manipulate your opponents into putting their money in when you have a statistical edge and the math does not lie.

- The series was significantly different from the ones it was adapted from, it was never meant to be a direct translation so heading in its own direction moving forward is to be expected.

- It was ahead of its time when it came out, but watching it today it looks dated.

I'd say that she's more popular than WW today, but there's not a snowball's chance in hell that she's more well-known worldwide.

- Unless she gets a spin off movie of her own and it does well there is no way anyone outside of comic fans remember her 6 months from now, much less more than WW. Wonder Woman on the other hand is known throughout generations at some level.

- With Sam Raimi jumping ship after disagreements on the direction of Spider Man 4, there really wasn't any other choice. No director wants to take over after the trilogy and try to continue it as they are probably destined to fail just for not being Raimi.

- Considering how much money the past movies have made, the studio had no intention of waiting any longer than they had to in getting a new movie in the works, a reboot was the best option in a messy situation.

- With the success of The Avengers and the expected truckload of money coming from Dark Knight Rises we can expect to continue to see new comic properties brought to the big screen, and with budgets that will allow them to be made well (with the right creative team)

I am counting on this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the time I am 50 I want every hero from Marvel and DC to have a trilogy of movies.......and a reboot trilogy of all those movies

- Not everyone deserves a trilogy, much less there own movie, not every character is known enough to support one.

- I would rather see the focus remain on quality over quantity, Marvel has had some misses so far, but overall they are doing well and the quality is trending up.
