NOTE: It is generally accepted that "the Outlander" playable class from the Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic is canonically the Hero of Tython (i.e. the Jedi Knight class).

The Outlander: (To be completed...)

Emperor Valkorion: (To be completed...)

Heskal: (To be completed...)

Senya: (To be completed...)

Force Accolades:

The Outlander once admitted that Arcann was almost invincible compared to him.

"He's overconfident, but almost as invincible as he believes he is."

―The Outlander (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

Lana Beniko claimed Arcann only ever feared confronting his father, Emperor Valkorion, even after witnessing Vaylin's power in the Force. Senya also believed that Arcann may humble the Outlander.

"No offense, but I'm willing to bet the only person Arcann ever feared was his father."

―Lana Beniko (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

"I think that's fine, but expect your sense of self to be tested if you confront Arcann."

―Senya Tirall (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

Satele Shan and Darth Marr believed that much of Arcann's power was due to his approach at handling, mastering, and using the Force. They believed that, because of this, no Jedi or Sith could defeat him, and rather the Outlander would have to expand his horizon's to truly topple the Eternal Throne.

"Arcann and his Knights learned to use the Force in a different way from Jedi and Sith. It's why we couldn't truly defeat them."

"I've defeated many."

"Don't confuse them with Arcann... All we ask is that you listen with an open mind - and learn from our failures."

―The Outlander and Satele Shan (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

The Outlander sensed and praised Arcann's strong connection the Force.

"I sense your connection to the Force. You have great strength..."

―The Outlander (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

Senya was far weaker than Arcann, Vaylin, and Thexan combined, even when they were children.

"Even as children - even with Vaylin's power restrained - the three of them together were still far more powerful than me. I couldn't force them to go."

―Senya (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

Emperor Valkorion has constantly praised Arcann's power. The authenticity of these statements, however, are in question, since they may have been said to trick the Outlander into becoming his pawn.

"We must deal with my errant son and daughter before they ruin everything."

"I knew you wanted something. You can't stop them alone."

"They are deadly - and worse, lack discipline. do not underestimate their threat. It will take both of us to undo the damage they can inflict."

―Valkorion and the Outlander (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

"This was a fraction of the pain my children can inflict. If you do not finish your training - become something greater - you will feel the full weight of their rage."

―Valkorion (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

"My son is too strong. You need my power. Only together can we strike him down."

―Valkorion (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

Combat Abilities:

NOTE: The battles below are showcased in reverse chronological order. Thank you for reading.

In the third confrontation between Arcann and the Outlander, the Commander showcased a slight edge over his adversary. Following his last defeat, the Outlander had grown in power considerably, now being imbued with a portion of Emperor Valkorion's power. The Outlander also wielded a lightsaber that contained the joint ideals of Darth Marr and Satele Shan. The fight began with Arcann forcing the Outlander on his knees with telekinesis, but the Commander used his newfound power to fend off Arcann's lightsaber strikes with his bare hands. A duel ensured and they fought as relative equals, but the capital ship they fought on began to suffer heavy bombardment. With Arcann being thrown off balance by the swaying ship, the Commander seized the advantage, injured Arcann, and considered his next move.

In the situation where the Outlander decided to kill his opponent, Arcann hurled broken machinery at the Commander. The Outlander managed to pull through it and then proceeded to best Arcann in a quick and brutal exchange of lightsaber combat. If the Outlander extended his hand and offered surrender, Arcann would attack the Commander, resulting in a fierce duel that also ended in Arcann's defeat.

NOTE: The alternate endings to the battle can be found at 17m:25s and 17m:37s respectively.

In the second confrontation between Arcann and the Outlander, Arcann showcased his complete superiority over his adversary. The fight began with Arcann dominating the Outlander with telekinesis, but a duel ensured and they fought as relative equals. Arcann managed to get the upper hand by a swift push with the Force, and then summoned his power to destroy his bested foe. The assassin droid HK-55, the Commander's companion, jumped in front of the blast, sacrificing his life in the process. Visibly enraged, the Commander resumed the fight, but Emperor Valkorion appeared before the Outlander and claimed that he was outmatched, and thus must use the entity's power if he wished to defeat Arcann.

In the situation where the Outlander accepts the offer of power, the weakened Emperor Valkorion temporarily took control over his body and overpowered Arcann after a fierce standoff. If the Commander refused, Arcann then immediately impaled him with his lightsaber and left him for dead. Either way, the injures sustained in the battle left the Outlander unconscious for two days before finally recovering.

"My son is too strong. You need my power. Only together can we strike him down."

―Valkorion (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

"You have released the docking clamps and survived the fight with Arcann, but at great cost."

―Star Wars: The Old Republic

NOTE: The alternate endings to the battle can be found at 23m:20s and 21m:26s respectively.

In the first confrontation between Arcann and the Outlander, Arcann showcased a slight edge over his adversary. The fight began with Arcann dominating the Outlander with telekinesis, but a duel ensured and they fought as relative equals. The fight may have continued if not for a massive pillar collapsing on Arcann due to a nearby explosion. Arcann was believed killed, but managed to pull himself from the rubble.

Arcann defeated the powerful Heskal and four Force-sensitive Scions. Heskal was capable of easily dismissing Senya and challenged the Outlander to a difficult battle.

"Although gravely wounded, Heskal has survived his encounter with Arcann."

Arcann slew his twin brother Thexan in a fit of rage after a short duel in an act that was considered "murder" by many, including his sister Vaylin and mother Senya. Nevertheless, Emperor Valkorion was seemingly impressed by Arcann's actions, extending his hand after the fight.

Arcann dominated and vanquished Darth Atroxa, the most powerful Sith on Korriban, and four or more of her Sith Warriors. This was after him and his forces successfully defeated armies of other Sith.

"My quarters - a glorified tent - provided a false sense of security. It drowned out the wind and the screams of our injured, but I knew the fighting continued. Darth Atroxa would not die easily. Her forces were loyal and ambitious, with a strong will to live. But she would fall. Arcann would see to that."

―Thexan (Star Wars: The Old Republic: Brothers)

No Caption Provided

Arcann and his twin brother Thexan led Zakuul forces to countless victories over Republic and Imperial border worlds. Dozens to hundreds of planets were captured and many Sith and Jedi were slain.

"It is a time of chaos. A mysterious army led by twin conquerors has carved a path of destruction across the worlds of the warring Galactic Republic and Sith Empire, then disappeared into uncharted space."

―Star Wars: The Old Republic

"Son of Emperor Valkorion, Arcann dreamed of a grander, more exciting future than the privileged life his father gave him. With his older twin brother, Thexan, he joined the Zakuul Knights at a young age, eager to prove himself. In an attempt to gain their father's respect, the brothers proposed a plan to test the strength of the border worlds between Zakuul and the holdings of the Republic and Sith Empire. Valkorion sanctioned the assault, but allowed only Thexan to lead the Eternal Fleet. Defying his father's orders to remain on Zakuul, Arcann joined his brother at the front. Together, they were victorious, but Arcann suffered a serious injury in battle. Valkorion's indifference to their accomplishments pushed him over the edge--he attacked his father, only to be stopped by Thexan. Despite his deep love for his brother, Arcann turned on him and murdered him. Then he set his sights on the Eternal Throne itself."

―Arcann Codex Entry (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

Arcann and his twin brother Thexan had a childhood dedicated to war and pain. They fought the likes of Zakuul Knights, the Eternal Empire's equivalent to Sith Lords or Jedi Knights, and bested them.

"With your birth comes a solemn vow: You will have nothing. Your privilege is the dirt. In the darkness, only ambition will guide you."

―Emperor Valkorion (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

(KotFE:S) Arcann lost his arm and severely burned the side of his face after a massive explosion on the battlefield. After receiving harsh medical attention, Arcann coped with the pain with Force Rage.

"Today, I watched my face burn. The skin cracked and curled as fire seared away the moisture. Charred flesh retreated from the heat and shriveled into a huddled black mass. One blue eye, identical to my own, held me in place--made me watch. In an instant, it was the face of a stranger. And we were no longer twins.

The memory tugged at my hand, pulled it to my cheek. I was startled by the smoothness that met the pads of my fingertips. My brother’s phantom grip still clutched my arm. I felt the bones beneath his skin reach out, try to escape the pain, and fail. Arcann had writhed for hours before sleep granted him mercy....

Our healers tried to save Arcann’s arm, but were unsuccessful. He was fitted with a cybernetic replacement in the field. As for the burns on his face...

My brother’s presence pulled at my attention. I hurried to the adjoining tent. Three droids and two healers stood over Arcann. I winced at the shrill sound of drilling. Arcann’s remaining fist clenched the sheets as they fitted him with a durasteel mask...

My brother stared at the ceiling. The mask covered more than half of his face and wrapped around the back of his skull. There was nothing human about its design - it was meant to intimidate as Arcann demanded. Scorched skin peeked from the edges, a testament to the ruined visage beneath.

Alone, Arcann relaxed. His exposed left brow knotted in pain as he looked down at the cybernetic arm. My stomach churned, as we both assessed the day’s losses...

I could feel the rage building inside of him. A rage I did not share."
