@sargon_stryfe: Yeah if they could talk without trying to kill each other it would be an intriguing conversation for sure.
Indeed. He prefers the natural crystals because while they don't burn as hot as the synthetics they are easier to control. He feels like that fits his style of swordplay better than a synthetic crystal. Decimus on the other hand uses synthetics.
Steam hissed, gusts of heat in the cold air as the shuttle settled into place.
The Darth disembarked. He wore a simple, but elegant tunic. A rich brown and a golden belt. No cloak; it might interfere with his movements.
His saber hung at his side.
Two lines of soldiers saluted and stood frozen like white statues. Miltiades strode between them, looking neither left nor right.
Around him raged the sounds of battle. An officer greet him with a crisp salute. "Sir!"
"Report."
"15th, 9th and 82nd being overrun. Plasma bombing cut them off from reinforcements and a lightning strike from speeders has them pinned down and isolated."
"I see. Order them to dig into the rubble of collapsed buildings. Find tunnels, sewers and what fortifications remain. Speeders will struggle to maneuver in those conditions. Bring a Star Destroyer into orbit above the city and begin TIE sorties and order the 104th to encircle the city. They must be no escape."
@grimmwald: I remember being shocked at the Karate thing. He picked it up so fast it blew my mind. Went from lousy striking to a string of KOs. Could have leaned on his wrestling but he decided to become a mixed martial artist instead.
@thisisgonnahurt: Hey, do you follow Warhammer Fantasy? I never did but I recently started playing TW: Warhammer 2 and really liked the Vlad/Isabelle thing. Are there books or comics about them?
@grimmwald: Yep yep. Very interesting. Generally size beats speed at the very top but we could be seeing a change where speed (when combined with power) is more important. But also Cejudo is just a martial prodigy. He was a legend in wrestling before he ever dipped a toe into MMA.
@grimmwald: Recently it seems like the smaller champ has a big advantage too. DC, Nunes and Cejudo have all won by KO. Rare that you see that outside of boxing.
