@soteria: I agree. Truth be told I've been thinking of retiring after I finish the year I committed to. I am enjoying the SW thing but I think the forum might have run its course. It has been a long time since anything happened in comic books that inspired a CV group and modern comics themselves are not inspiring the young crowd that CV depends on. On top of that the site seems to be moving in a direction most players are unhappy with. I think all the large scale trends are moving away from CV roleplaying.

Yeah it is bad and has been for quite some time.

@thisisgonnahurt: I wasn't thinking any sort of post-apocalyptic setting or anything (even though it is technically post apocalyptic.) More like a fantasy world but set in America instead of Europe and on top of the bones of civilization rather than built from the ground up. So kings, knights and peasants and so forth instead of post-apocalyptic raiders or something.

@shield-maiden: I don't know, I've never watched it.

Setting idea: A hard fantasy setting hudreds of years in the aftermath of a biological attack that wipes out most of humanity. Technology has regressed to the medieval level but certain features of modern society have survived. Many skyscrapers still exist and often serve as capitols of kingdoms that grow up within and around them. The great plains are now home to Mongol-esque tribes of nomads and Alaska home a viking type people.
