@scotchbear: most people don’t have the fitness level required to deliver a clean kick, let alone one that could one shot a dog. You also rarely hear of a dog of any breed killing any human outside of infants. Dog attacks are rare. Dog killings are rarer. Dogs killing grown men are rarerer
@crawlerwing_night: Dog fights are intense and rapid because both dogs are trying to grab the other while avoiding being caught. The results rarely match the intensity.
I also always view human vs animal fights as the human being either morals off, or fighting for their life. Most people would be too afraid of being harmed (and rightly so) to properly defend themselves (which is a self-perpetuating issue). A morals off human won’t care about being hurt, and wouldn’t be afraid of the dog.
@comicgirl21: the “time spell” was the time stone in action. He also had no trouble getting through Strange’s shields, and, while Strange went in a rookie, he supposedly was there long enough to relatively master his abilities. The director (or perhaps Feige) stated that there were significantly more loops than shown, and that they were in there long enough to become intimately familiar with his abilities, hence his sudden mastery in later films (paraphrased).
@xlr87t3: depending on what you consider a “large man,” a German Shepherd can easily be stomped. Anybody the size of Brock Lesnar is breaking bones and organs with nothing more than a mauled arm at most. Pit bulls are also great fighting dogs, but they weigh no more than 60 lbs on average.
This guy looks short though, however his body fat % is definitely well above average. The (actual) average human is getting killed anywhere 6-8. If you’re going for peak human (which that guy is closer to), then anywhere from 9–10
