@MarcusVWario: Johns used all Moore's ideas and concepts of the Blackest Night - check it out in Tales of the Green Lanterns or in the DC Universe: The Stories of Alan Moore - I think the term "ripping off" is too hard, but he definitely drank from Moore's pool (metaphoricaly speaking)

Great News!!!

I loved the creative teams anounced, apart from JMS, who I'm not the biggest fan of!

I'm really looking foward to this prequel, I think it'll be quite an interesting project!

I really don't understand why there're so much haters and dislikers of projects like this, only because it's involving character of a historic comic book like Watchmen - who cares if Alan Moore aproves or not? It's not going to change what Watchmen meant, it'll only use the characters!

Well done DC!

This compensates for all that Rob Liefeld S**t!

I'm sorry to the folks that like her but Marjorie Liu is one writer that I'll always avoid reading and unfortunately she landed on a title that was on my pull list, so Astonishing X-Men is no longer an item that I'll purchase

HAven't read Spider-Man for a long time, the exception of Civil War and right afterwards (OMD) when Quesada decided to change everything and it was very bad - I don't consider the Young Avengers a bad series, in fact I enjoyed a lot Heinberg and Cheung on the title - regarding the Exiles, I only read to issue 50 or so and Claremont was already losing it - I believe there's a lot of bad storylines such as Chaos War, Dark Reign, Heroic Age, Necrosha, Five Lights, Generation Hope and so many others - this article was more personal than objective, biased at least

Things are very complicated in Avengers:Children's Crusade, since everyone is trying to bring Wanda down, Avengers and X-Men, so with the storyline of X-tinction, it appears that the whole battle will be about the Avengers trying to neutralize Hope - I will be very sad if it's about the Phoenix Force mind controlling the Avengers into fighting the mutants and vice versa - let's, I don't expect great things from Fraction (Fear Itself was a disaster), though I enjoyed his phase in the X-Men, but I have high hopes in Brubaker, Bendis and Aaron.

It awes me the fact that an "artist" whose only "creation", that wasn't a total rip-off, happened more than 20 years in the past (and I totaly desconsider Deadpool,'cause this character blows, so it's only Cable in the equation, though I believe this is more Nicieza or Editorial than Liefeld, but that's just a personal opinion, not fact), focusing, I really get so surprised (in a bad way) that Rob Liefeld gets so much credit and trust from people in charge of DC, also by comic readers to the fact that he doesn't suck in writing, only is persecuted or hated because it's cool (what a moronic argument)!! WTF!! I dare people to point out one good story writen by Mr. Liefeld!! Avengelyne?!? Prophet?!?! Captain America Heroes Reborn?!?! Fighting America?!?! Youngblood?!?!? Please don't mention Supreme, 'cause this is all Alan Moore! So yeah, I already got the general idea to make a conclusion, WITHOUT WASTING MY MONEY AND READING A PIECE OF CRAP STORY, that everything produced by Mr. Liefeld is worthless and tasteless! I don't have to be biten by a snake to know it hurts and that it's poisonous, this is called COMMOM SENSE, a genuine way of knowlegde, and the commom sense is that Rob Liefeld is a horrible "artist"!

I wasn't buying any of this titles (the only one that I had second thoughts and was starting to regret not buying it was OMAC), sorry for those who were reading them, but Blackhawks is a stupid concept, Static Shock proves that children/teens need to read material directed to them, H&D, no comments, Mr. Terrific, interesting as a team player, not solo and Men of War was the only "new" or "interesting" concept that really surprised me, so it's a pitty being culled this way. I was surprised that such titles like Voodoo and Batman The Dark Knight survived, let's see for how long!
