In the future, three villains will launch an attack on the US government. This will have unforseeable consequences including the corruption of several prominent DC heroes, uncountable deaths, and a dystopian world where freedom is an illusion, where peoples rights are a memory, where Superman is law. New heroes will rise, along with new, more lethal threats.

Timeline of events as shown. ((Spoilers))

2013: Superman becomes President.

2015: Batman is still refusing to join Superman's regime.

2017: Superman runs unopposed.

2018: Batman Quinn is born.

2020: His grip on the world tightens.

2022: The Legion of Doom plans retaliation.

2031: Batman gives in and joins Superman

2032: Batman joins Superman and becomes the Secretary for Justice and Prisons.

2034: Keystone City. Black Adam kills Wally West and Impulse.

2034: Battle of Metropolis City. Superman kills Alan Scott, Dr Fate, Mr Terrific and Jakeem Thunder

2035: Henry Jonathan Wade is born. Later changed to Johnny Hex, great great great grandson of Jonah Hex.

2035: Lex is killed by Superman, and reborn as a clone.

2040, Dec 29: Wonder Woman kills Wonder Girl and takes the purple ray machine.

2040: Batman undergoes healing.

2041 Jan 4: The battle of Gotham City park.

2041: China. Superman kills Hal Jordan and takes his ring.

2045: Sharpshot (Callum) is born.

2048: Superman kills Aqua Man and squashes the Atlantean rebellion.

2048: Superman kills Ra's Al Ghul

(Unclear time) Chris Freeman (grandson of Freddy Freeman) meets the wizard Shazam who gives him the powers of Captain Marvel.

2048: Etrigan, joined to the form of Peyton Riley (the second Ventriloquist) attacks and severely damages Batman, leading to him needing a replacement machine body.

2060: Hex is locked up for drunken misconduct. Attacks a Hawkman and gets a scarred face in return. Spends five years in prison.

2061: Robo Batman returns to the Bat cave, which has become a training ground for Hawkmen clones.

2062: The Brain makes a clone body.

2064: Conner Hawke (Sharpshot) completes the training program.

2064 / 2065 Watcher Tower is destroyed. Captain Marvel Jr dies heroically fighting Martian Manhunter

2065: The clone Brain is finished.

2065: Etrigan is seen to be joined to a new host.

2065: Sharpshot dies.

2065: Hex gets out of Prison. Lex is alive.

2065: Ivy is being kept alive on life support beneath Metropolis City

Plot holes // Mistakes

In the Brain #10 The character is about to be killed by Martian Manhunter and the upgraded Skeets. In #11 the story starts somewhere else with the Brain now much more driven and ruthless, confronting and challenging Deranger for his planning of Operation Purple Smile. Hawkman and Captain Marvel leave with him. The Brain says that Deranger's father (Batman Quinn) was raised by Harley Quinn and Ivy. In actuality Harley and Ivy are separate for the the majority of Batman Quinn's life, not meeting him until he was 23.
