Arthur is a person who has more realistic views on how to tackle various issues on a global scale, his main motivation being to improve humanity and society as as hole. But this causes him to engage in questionable and reckless means. While he will normally refrain from engaging in truly aggressive behavior, however, he does have the tendency to act with great offensive and defensive measures when he feels that he is being attacked. In a battle he will often use attacks that could permanently injure or kill his opponents afterwards.

The Futurist's life began with an unremarkable birth and an unremarkable childhood, one that would be considered the epitome of standard for a lower middle class family in New York during the early 90s. His father was a contractor, while his mother was a real estate agent, neither of which seemed to particularly fulfilled in their carriers or whatever else their lives had to offer, their son Arthur being included. He had always had difficulties growing up, regardless of where he would be or what he was doing, his troublesome disorders, as they would be called, forcing him to wear the label of intellectually incapability from such a young age. Having been diagnosed with ADHD, Dyslexia, OCD and a possible intellectual deficit in the form of muteness, it would be clear that he would have certain hurdles all throughout his life that would force him to work three times harder than most individuals would ever have to. His greatest achievement from a childhood would be when he would finally learn to speak after 5 years of living, a feat that is otherwise his parents would managed to appreciate.
His school life however, wouldn't improve much from this major ability that he had developed. In the classroom, he was loud, unorganized, hyperactive, neurotic and difficult to teach due to the particular struggles that his unique mind had presented anyone or anything that attempted to educate him, forcing his parents to have him jump from school to school. It would be a vast understatement to say that he was the most difficult and least welcomed student in any area of education, so much so that any institute that he ended up in had it recommended that he be sent to special needs program. But for all of his parents' doubt, they preferred to have him on the same footing as the other students, much to the annoyance of those who would have to deal with him. Events on the on playground wasn't much better. Having done a complete 180° on the speaking front, a good amount of his time at school was getting ass kickings from various classmates, his smart mouthed tendencies coupled with his odd behavior making him far from a joy to be around for his peers.
As difficult as his school days were, it wasn't all terrible. After all, for each and every one of his setbacks, Arthur did posses numerous talents that he had spent a great amount of time at home perfecting (this would of course be his phenomenal talent of creation). Anything that Arthur could get his hands on would typically be destroyed from a project that he was working on. From blocks, LEGO pieces, cardboard, papers, pencils, gravel, wooden floors, gravel, electronics and so on. All in his path would typically end up dismantled and re-purposed into something else,
something more, a habit that would only cause the simultaneous anger and amazement from his parents to grow as he go onto age through the years. It was only a matter of time before he had begun working joining his father's endeavors with fixing people's homes, and making life at home more efficient through enchantment of his appliances. The greatest filter for his gifts however would be the basement that he would go onto turn into his personal garage, the spawning point of his greatest creations.
Over time, his knack for analysis and construction would manifest itself in a variety of mechanical and technological wonders that innovations spawned from nothing more than his ingenuity, and what little he could get his hands on. An intense fascination for the science of creation being stirred within himself and now bubbling to the surface, he elected to use his talents to enter his school science on his project being founded on weather or not hydrodynamic propulsion from within an object could be used to sustain flight. His manner of presentation coming in the form of a jet pack that he managed to enter into fair, with much apprehension from the school staff. While the invention was initially able to sustain flight momentarily, much to everyone's amazement, it shortly afterwards malfunctioned, causing significant to damage to Arthur, the auditorium, as well as numerous projects in its wake. The accident would of course result in Arthur's immediate suspension, amidst his subsequent time in the hospital. The entire affair winding up in the evening news, catching more a few eyes in the process.
It wasn't before his little mishap would grab the attention of the engineering community due to investigation of the jet pack's components, it being more than a little impressive given the unique nature its design's utilization of otherwise mundane objects. But upon further analysis, it would take the community by storm and result in more than few offers to numerous institutions of high learning who recognized Arthur's prodigious abilities and unheard of talents. Particularly representatives of MIT who obtained information from his Arthur's parents on his various other creations. Upon examination, their approval of him would be further elevated to extent where he would actually gain the opportunity from to pursue a PHD at their institution, and so, he wrote his dissertation on the concept of an anti-vacuum based repulsion system as his dissertation. Of course, receiving further accolade. His parents of course would allow him to go without have a slight of apprehension about this god send of fortune, Arthur being given a scholarship as well as advanced education.
Immediately after existing the confines of the hospital, he went onto proceed with his work of higher education, alongside work regards to enhancing his first major project. The creation would have the immediate follow up of a public demonstration of the suit's capabilities resulting in significant praise for his efforts as well as media attention, being dubbed by the press as "Cutting Edge". His life finally feeling like it had turned around... for the time being. It was not long after his recent development in fame that the university would be assaulted by an unknown criminal organization that would seek to obtain his coveted technology. In operation which ended racked a large count of dead bodies being racked by both criminal forces, and Arthur, who chose to don the suit and use what little offensive measures that it had to combat the threat. A period of extreme violence would ensue, resulting in the deaths of those in both sides of the encounter, with Arthur having been the one to end it, at the cost of his own sanity. While he was dubbed by the public as a hero for killing each and everyone of the perpetrators, and greatly reducing the potential cavities, the event left an changed the 16 year old, in a great number of ways.
Graduating from MIT at the age of 18 with PhDs in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Arthur left to continue his various with his financial aid coming to him in the form of W.A.R.P. Laboratories. The great benefactor in many of his greatest creations, such as the very funding that allowed him to create his iconic armor. It wasn't long after he would pursue his career working within the company that he would put his armor to use outside of its intend purpose of being an advanced mode of transportation and instead use it to preform a number of public works in the armor in favor of the common good. Not only boosting public reception of himself further, but providing the company free publicity as well. By age 24, he had bolstered the company's brand, put W.A.R.P. Labs back on the map, and made himself a household name, promoting himself on an international scale as the flower child of the scientific research and the technological industry. His efforts had lead him to inheriting the company and becoming CEO, using his vast and resources for a plethora of projects.
Arthur posses no superhuman attributes outside of his inhumanly great intellect, which he uses as a substitute for powers.
Abilities/Skills Man of Tomorrow Like many great minds of the world, Arthur Mark was not only gifted an innate aptitude for the variety of practices, techniques and thought processes that he has found himself utilizing over the course of academic and casual carrier. But rather, has devoted a great deal of time to the many arts and sciences that were practical and challenging enough to spark his interest. Fueled by ambition and curiosity, he has taken advantage of his unique mind and used it to achieve everything from novice ability, to mastery and to transcendence of his numerous and exotic efforts: Super Genius: One of Arthur’s most well known traits and primary assets of use would be his unique mind and numerous abnormal abilities that come with it. A brain inhuman nature that is able to compete on not only planetary level but also a universal stage. Being able to comprehend and manipulate matters and concepts with ease that few, if any, of Earth’s other opposing geniuses would be able to begin to approach. One of first aspect of his intelligence to be recognized would be the speed upon which his mind operates. The excessive amount grey and white matter in The Futurist’s neurological structure provide his mind for superior ability than most humans and meta-human a to transmit signals and efficiently carry out its electrical process with the proper insulation. This allowing the speed upon his thought process and his ability to manage and process an infinite number of data streams to extend to inhuman proportions, even his perception of time being somewhat warped at times. The result of which is an incredibly advanced learning rate, which combined with his natural altitude for a broad range of subjects results a him gaining an advanced knowledge of new practices in inhumanly short periods of time.
Furthermore, Arthur boasts an advanced logical reasoning process that gives him advanced inductive, abductive and deductive reasoning skills as well as a savant level ability to calculative the probability of certain hypothetical truths to be accurate. Allowing him to draw fast paced conclusions and leaps in reasoning without limited data at hand. In conjunction with this, The Techno Mage’s analytical abilities work to break down any concept or situation that his mind is confronted with, giving him an impeccable ability to recognize patterns, evaluate ideas, and dissect any concept to its fundamental components, to detect any flaws or and observe any significant attributes. To the finish, Arthur’s unprecedented creative abilities allow him to think outside of the box, approach any circumstance from a lateral and unorthodox standpoint, and contribute a vast range of intellectual resources to any given situation. These notably advanced intelligence combined with his mental speed, gives him a phenomenal ability to make valid judgement, predict countless happenings with extreme accuracy, well as improve ideas, solve complex problems and understand advanced concepts. Furthermore, his extraordinary amount of ingenuity can extend to situations upon which he is crippled in regards to the materials that he has the ability to work with. And with that, he can overcome even the most difficult instances with an unrivaled amount adaptability and resourcefulness. Arthur himself credits his endless imagination to his unmatched talents for the extraordinary.
Master Multitasker: While the common the belief is that human beings are naturally able to concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously and achieve such efforts with comparable efficiency, this is incorrect. In actually, the human mind is merely able to switch between separate mental tasks at such an extreme rate that it creates the illusion of multitasking. In the case of The Futurist however, it is quite different. While he prefers to focus on single tasks when they interest him, his prefrontal cortex has been shown to be able to focus and effectively work numerous the distinct tasks simultaneously without the clutter and erroneous tendencies that typically come with such a thing. This appears to be the result of a unique genetic neurological deformation that actually allows his conscious mind to fragment itself and focus various efforts at once, all with equal efficiency (e.g. he could be having an intricate conversation, while engaged in combat, and during this also be solving analytical geometric formula). The result of which gives him an inhuman mental effectiveness when faced with numerous tasks. Expert Engineer: Arthur has proven himself as most advanced engineers on the planet, and has since been dubbed by many as "The Mechanic". While he does not have advanced in all degrees in them, he is also an expert and master in practice and implementation of various practices that his craft branches off from his primary craft. Such as: electronics, computer engineering, robotics, aerospace engineering, neural engineering, cybernetics, nanotechnology, nanorobotics, weapons technology, and so on. Even going so far as to conceive and implement entirely new fields. Computer Scientist: Being the savant he is in technological applications, Arthur has developed futuristic software and hardware in a branch of its own, far more advanced than that of nearly all of Earth's. Easily one of the greatest programmers on the planet. Two examples of his ability are designed communication systems capable of interacting with alien technology far more advanced than that of Earth as well A.I.s with human-level self awareness. His hacking prowess however is so great that he can break into and manipulate militaristic level applications with ease and any type of protection system created on Earth. Time and time again, he has proven that he can apply his technology to virtually any level of science, societal or economic matter. Scientist & Mathematician: Being something of a polymath, Arthur is highly proficient and intuitive in regards to a variety of fields and scientific disciplines, even with little to no prior of a field (despite specializing in engineering). While not a master of all branches, his main forte happens to be a broad scope of physics and chemistry, including: nuclear physics, astrophysics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, cryogenics, energetics and numerous others. He was even able to go so far as to use his knowledge of nuclear physics and physical chemistry to conceive the idea of a new element and perfect his nuclear fusion equation, despite having limited knowledge of the fields at the time. It being one of many of his scientific breakthroughs. He is also quite advanced in many sub fields, such as: mathematics (probability, statistics, calculus, functions, trigonometry, chaos theory, etc), being able to effortlessly breeze through multiple calculations and logical constructs that most others would deem complex. Skilled/Adaptive Strategist & Tactician: Arthur is highly adept at coming up plans on the spot and reacting to major threats instantaneously or long before they even came into existence, being the futurist he is naturally, he is extremely proactive. He is a master of mapping out the probability of all possibilities, making him an expert at developing and employing contingencies whenever it suits him. In addition to this, he is mentally agile to the extent where he is able to instantly change his strategy and use his creative intelligence in nearly any situation in order to give him a chance at victory. Through a series of hyper mental calculations and thus determining the most appropriate way of proceeding in any given situation. It allows him to implement his resourcefulness in a rapid fire manner and adapt to virtually any scenario that he finds himself in, even if he was caught off guard with no prior planning. Businessman/Presenter: Being the head of a multi billion dollar enterprise, Mark is quite adept at dealing and interacting with associates from various companies and organizations, despite having comparatively limited knowledge of how the nature of business works himself. Being a quick study, he can easily navigate most interactions with the minimum knowledge required, however, his main talent lay in convincing others of his brands capabilities, quality, general competence and underlying superiority, all due to his innate talent of putting on a show to impress most, if not all of his colleagues. His social intelligence and notable linguistic abilities playing into this makes him absurdly charismatic and persuasive when need be, even through the most minute gestures and vocal suggestions. Multilingual: Having lived his entire life in the United States and needing at least the bare minimum amount of range of linguistics for his corporate transactions, Arthur is fluent in both English and Spanish. However, during his time throughout space he has been able to pick up a wide range of alien languages that he has worked to record, analyze and decipher, eventually allowing him to create an algorithm that can roughly or fluently translate the speech of hundreds of thousands of different alien languages. Arthur however has a basic to intermediate comprehension of a few dozen languages without technological assistance. High Alcohol Tolerance: Due to years of heavy drinking on a consistent basis, The Mechanic has been able to develop and alcohol tolerance so high that he is able to function properly and effectively carry out various complicated tasks, even while heavily intoxicated. So much so that he is able to work off of loads of liqueur and still retain cognitive function surpassing that of most humans. He has even have an alcohol level in his body so high that any other human would be dead from such a percentage, the greatest alcohol Blood Alcohol Concentration that Arthur has achieved being 3.5, which in most cases would be a death sentence. But he could possibly survive having surpassed that if he were to press himself. Acting: A little known fact about The Futurist is that he is a surprisingly good actor, having a genuine knack for the craft and demonstrating notable talent in relation to various skills in general theatrics, without any sort of formal training. While not a master of the art, he finds ease in portraying various different roles and positions through emotional responses, voice modulation and physical mannerisms, to the extent where he could fairly easily fools those who are not familiar with his true nature, even going so far as being able to force himself to "cry" in numerous situations (having shown a greater proficiency to more bizarre, emotional and quirky roles). This skill is primarily used in the cases where deception is a key element, or there are extreme tonal shifts needed upon his person, be it in the case of skilled lying or through methods of intimidation. Experienced Combatant: Being someone of influence and drastic methods on a global stage has made The Futurist a notable amount of enemies that would like to see him in a less capable state, as such, he has since spent his spare time achieving and improving his ability in the practice of combat, most notably his abilities and effectiveness in regards to boxing and kickboxing procedures. However, one inherent advantage that he holds in most physical confrontations is his enhanced perceptive and reactive abilities, having a brain that not only process visual and spatial information with much more efficiency than the average person, but also having an advanced response time to mental and physical stimuli. With standard self defense training, continuous exercises practice of basic melee fighting and a vast amount of practice over his costumed career, Mark is a surprisingly capable combatant when placed in such a situation. (Personal) Weaknesses Attraction: Arthur is very often found in situations in-where he fall victim to his superficial attraction to someone. While not easily manipulated, his judgement can be impaired by people he is attracted to which makes it easier for others to convince him to make unwise decisions. Short Attention Span: Despite his vast intellect, Arthur has a very poor ability to focus when uninterested in a certain topic. Arrogance: Arthur's enormous ego often results in him underestimating the abilities of others and overestimating the ability of himself, as well as clouding his better judgement He usually ends up in many unfavorable positions because of this flaw. (General) Armor Capabilities Spectacular Specs The very invention that put him on the map, the Cutting Edge suit is an advanced armor that serves as both a powerful toolkit, and as deadly weapon. Being technological creations of unlimited potential that could potentially create, or destroy, and untold range of objects and peoples. Though each armor is typically designed to have a particular skill set with unique attributes that encompass a wide variety of operations, they all have the same basic functions and capabilities are found throughout all of their general armor designs. All of which respond and operate precisely how Mark and he alone instructs them to: Enhanced Strength: While there is a wide variety of situations that each operations Cutting Edge suit was specifically created for, one task that recurs in virtually all instances are one where feats superhuman machine work is required. And for that reason, Each model is designed with a rotating joint/gear system within its mechanical hulls to allow the armor to exert at least 50 tons of force, giving them the sheer capability to move objects of such weight. Due to each ligament in the armor being bestowed with this design, this ability extends to lifting, pulling, pushing, dragging, crushing and throwing. Combat scenarios are also included in this. However, each armor is able to apply a certain amount of force limited amount of time with varying difficulty and duration. Enhanced Durability: Due to the nature of the uses and environments of each armor, and the need to protect its occupant, each armor has been reinforced to withstand and extreme amount of damage from a wide variety of external sources. Being made out of the most durable metal alloys in the world (excluding most exotic elements like adamantium) and enhanced with molecular bonding agents to vastly increase their normal structural integrity, each suit is able to withstand attacks of an average of 300 tons of force. Taking a bare minimum of 100 tons or force in order to do any notable reduction of structural integrity of the weakest armor. Beyond that, each of them have been chemically engineered to have a melting point that is at a minimum of 5,000 °C (9,032). Flight: Because the advanced propulsion technology that each is designed with suit, each one is able repel the particulates in its atmosphere with an enormous amount of force as well as a massive release of energy contained in the suit. Allowing to travel at speeds ranging from subsonic to typically speeds of Mach 50 on average. The five locations for such a capability are energy ports located in the armor's palms, boots and chest. Repulsive Blasts: As an extension to the flight ability, each suit is able to release devastating blast of energy nuclear energy directly from its various reactors. Each one a beam of energy that range of in heat 100-15,000 °C (212-27,032 °F). As side effect of the blast being able to apply massive amounts of force ranging from blasts of 1-20,000 tons of force. The energy output and force with each fire is dependent on how long each blasts is charged. Advanced Weaponry & Tools: Several suits are built with conventional weapons of cutting edge military grade technology should more concentrated attacks be needed. From weapons such as smart missiles, turrets, anti-tank misses, canons, and many other projectiles. Added weaponry in the form of futuristic technology such as photon canons, ionized blades, plasma grenades and many others. Allowing the wearer to neutralize threats ranging from standard humans to powerful metahumans. Beyond that, a wide rang of tools also come equipped with each suit. Including but not limited to: screwdrivers, Swiss army knifes, hammers and various others. Nanorobots: Some suits are constructed with trillions of nanobots that shape themselves and the molecular components of the armor, based on the suits immediate needs. They can reform themselves and create countless different patterns in order to adapt to the environment that they exist in. They can take the shape of a variety of different tools and weapons for all manner of problems. They even have storage capsules to fit in spaces of incredibly small area, as well as allow them to repair the armor they comprise, should it be damaged. Life Support System: Each armor is given the basic necessity of being able to its wearer with all need accommodations in order for them to functionally use the suit for a prolonged period of time. This includes a built in oxygen generator that mimics the process of photosynthesis and provides a breathable atmosphere that alone can sustain life for a total of 7 days when oxygen is not available outside of the armor. A built in waste removal and filtration system also exist as a way to relieve the user as well as recycle any viable liquids. Another feature is the suit's climate and homeostasis measures in order to sustain a livable environment in regards to heat and atmosphere. Furthermore, an accompanying factor is the suit's kinetic redirection brakes implanted within an embedded padding as a way of countering the G forces during flight, this is done by actively expelling kinetic energy through the armor's heat vents. Lastly, each suit is designed with an interior medical kit that can preform analysis and provide limited medical aid to those that have become sick or injured. Helmet Interface & AI: The helmet of each suit has advanced HUD (Heads Up Display) that provides a vast amount of information that would of information is required for the user of the suits it use it to its fullest capacity. This includes a constant status report of the suit's physical integrity, energy usage, mechanical composure, etc, all in the form of holographic 3D imaging. The helmet's lenses are composed of photonic-crystal fibers that are able to adjust their composition in order to detect each frequency on the electromagnetic spectrum and locate objects over two miles away from the suit. Further use of this is the enhanced analysis of one's surroundings, covering matters such as environmental composure, bio-readings, and the like. To add onto the knowledge provided, the suit's software is connected to numerous databases, such as the one's utilized by W.A.R.P. Laboratories and Arthur Mark, in order to provides a range of seemingly unlimited data of terrestrial, and a limited number of extraterritorial systems. Lastly, each suit is connected to a personal A.I. known as M.A.T (Mobile Automated Tactician) who can offer great assistance to the user. It can offer advice in the midst of combat as well as take necessary action when the user finds themself in a difficult situation, such as providing tactical measures and basic suggestions, as well as a more hands on approach to the armor's controls. Programming & Hacking: Each armor has not only the ability to protect its software through a complex set of relays and algorithmic patterns, but also has the ability infiltrate various types of networks and programs within cyberspace with a level of speed and efficiency that surpasses the vast majority of the software on Earth. Energy Storage & Usage: Each armor is primarily powered by the unique and perfected energy source of a miniaturized fusion rector, that has been developed into a chest piece that is referred to as the Mark Reactor (™). A technological innovation that surpasses most if not all known energy sources native to the planet Earth. Using said energy, the suit is able to achieved all of its numerous effects and functions for extend periods of time. While that is the main power source for each suit, every installment has limited electrical absorption capabilities as well. This allows each already powered suit to absorb 100,000,000 volts of electricity before damage to the hardware is a concern. A completely drained suit requires an average 30,000,000,000 volts of electricity to reach full power. Actively Used Armors ⚙️(W.I.P.)🔧 The Best Toys Among the countless creations and projects launched by the Futurist, perhaps the most numerous and varied of works of all of his ventures is the vast gallery of Cutting Edge armors that he has has built over time. Beyond the standard abilities that each of his suits are equipped with, ever single one of The Crimson Smith's "children" are designed with unique features and components that can be attributed to their precise function and particular skill set. A full on arsenal of armors widely dispersed across a number of locations, each one more competent than the last, continuously evolving for all possible uses: Mark X: A standard armor with the basic features, operating systems and abilities of any suit ( appearance). Mark XIII (A stealth suit that while not as physically opposing as most armors, is able to get past the most sensitive of security measures much more easily. It is installed with a more impressive oxygenation generation system than the average suit that will convert the water of molecules (H2O) back into oxygen molecules, allowing the suit to stay underwater for an indefinite period of time. It is comprised with a flexible space age polymer to resit the pressure of the ocean as far down as it extends. Aquatic Armor): Mark XXVIII ( A tactical armor that has been retrofitted to be more durable than most. It uses more explosives (i.e. missiles) and smaller weapons projectiles (i.e. bullets) than average armors. It also has much more weapons storage than other suits in order to obtain that amount of equipment. Tactical Armor): Mark XXX ( A suit that is designed to survive the harsh climate of arctic regions on the planet Earth. It is able to give of a laser that can burn at a heat level of 15,000 °C but is alternatively designed with a cryogenic beam that reverses the polarity of typical repulser technology to serve as a sort of freeze ray. It is installed with an internal heater and can operate in weather condition of -273.14 °C. Arctic Armor): Mark XXXVI (The Power Buster): A hulking armor was designed specifically to battle the most physically powerful beings Earth, and beyond. Designed with electromagnetic technology and crafted with a mesh of the most durable metals on the planet, it is the most physically opposing suit of the bunch. It is able to move and react at supersonic speeds in combat ranging from Mach 1 to 50, run at 600 miles per hour, fly at a top speed of Mach 30. With it enhanced force exertion, it is able to project and take attacks that can destroy cities. And couple with a total of 8 prime reactors, it is able to project beams of energy equivalent to that of of nuclear warhead going off ( appearance). Mark XLV (Cosmic Armor 2.0): An cosmic suit was originally designed for the purpose of being a one man research vessel go to the farthest depths of space, fully equipped with all equipment needed to survive in its harsh environment. But after being almost completely destroyed, it would be rebuilt with alien technology as a human sized war ship, capable of taking on entire vessels. It is able to fly at faster than relativistic speeds, is able to lift over 100,000 tons, absorb various cosmic rays and withstand temperatures as high as 15,000 degrees Kevin and or as low as -272 °C ( appearance). Mark L (Nex-Gen): One of the most advanced armor to date, the mark XL or "Next-Gen" suit was created to be one of the most powerful and versatile pieces of technology ever created. It is designed with nano technology which allow the suit to shape and reform itself in any way that user sees fit. Some of the shapes that it can take are projectiles, shields, guns, hammers and several others. It is able to lift over 500 tons and is extremely durable due to interlocking pieces that are formed when the suit conjoins. It also has the ability to repair itself overtime. (Technological) Weaknesses Power Usage: Each suit has prime reactor which will power all of the armor and technological functions that will give of energy when being actively used. The duration of the length of time that the suit stays active and at full power is two weeks on average. However, extended use of the suit's abilities can shorten that period of time to a matter of days or hours. Magnetism: Though each armor is primarily composed of a metal alloy that is non-magnetic (e.g. a gold titanium-alloy), they do posses small percentages that are susceptible to various forms of magnetism (iron, nickel, etc). Use of extremely powerful magnets have been known to stunt the suit's movements and performance.
