Accolades

Both Vodo-Siosk Baas and Odan-Urr were considered the Mace Windu and Yoda of their era

"A Jedi Master is afforded a great deal of respect within the Order... some Jedi Masters have more authority than others due to their individual reputation. Master Yoda and Master Mace Windu are two examples in the Rise of the Empire era, as are Master Odan-Urr and Master Vodo-Siosk Baas in the Old Republic era... Much of the respect Jedi Masters garner within their respective Orders relates to their strength in the Force..."

―Power of the Jedi Sourcebook

Vodo-Siosk Baas is repeatedly considered to be one of the great/greatest of Jedi Masters.

"In time, Thon brought Nomi and Vima to Ossus where she could train at the Jedi center under the tutelage of the one of the greatest Jedi Masters― Vodo-Siosk Baas"

―Tales of the Jedi Companion

"The Jedi Knights are all together now, a more powerful force arrayed against Ulic than all the military defenses of Coruscant."

Combat Abilities

Vodo-Siosk Baas wields the quarter staff as effectively as most Jedi do a Lightsaber.

―Power of the Jedi Sourcebook

Vodo-Siosk Baas is an ambidextrous master of dual weapon (primarily quarterstaff) combat and proficient in wielding lightsabers, blasters and "simple weapons".

―Saga Edition Core Rulebook, Jedi Academy Training Manual, Power of the Jedi Sourcebook

Vodo-Siosk Baas has defeated Exar Kun (already a master of lightsaber combat) while the latter was only wielding a single lightsaber and proceeded to contend with, though ultimately defeated by, him while Exar Kun employed Jar'Kai.

Force Barrier/Force Defense/Tutaminis

Vodo-Siosk Baas, having been the one to primarily train such Jedi as Nomi Sunrider and Qrrl Toq on Ossus (where in which they are implied to have picked up these powers), should be capable of utilizing the powers his apprentices displayed during the Freedon Nadd Uprising.

Nomi Sunrider and Qrrl Toq displayed Force Barrier/Force Defense during the initial blitz on Onderon.

Nomi Sunrider displayed Tutaminis by deflecting a blaster bolt back at a Naddist Soldier. She is noted to have become "adept in the battle skills she learned on Ossus" where Vodo-Siosk Baas was her Master. Minimum context of the panel, if not the entire combat sequence, would suggest she at minimum learned what she was displaying in the panel on Ossus.

"And Nomi Sunrider-- A Jedi only a few short months-- Is already adept in the battle skills she learned on Ossus."

"She (Nomi Sunrider) quickly advances in her skills over the ensuing weeks."

―Tales of the Jedi Companion

"Thon brought Nomi and Vima to Ossus where she could train at the Jedi center under the tutelage of the one of the greatest Jedi Masters― Vodo-Siosk Baas."
