You cant treat a anime and a manga like a comic when trying to quantify feats as statements in mangas can be backed up by guides while in comics people say empty statements while not ever doing or performing said statement.And btw its hard to argue author intent when only one guy wrote the entire manga and we still have one guy writing the manga unlike in comics where you have multiple writers for one character thus multiple inconsistencies.

Scaling is important but sometimes it`s illogical. If we take that currently Goku or Jiren must be universal/multi-universal characters but they`re not.
Dude lowballing sentry like that defeats the point of your post about him.Wasp whooping sentry never happened and all she did was some a very durable worm to eat him and that doesnt even stop him.
I`m not lowballing him. He is just planet/multi-planet buster when it comes to pure feats. Wasp`s feat is good example and she managed to hold her own against Sentry. Sentry was stopped with giant insect and only time he faced higher threat was in Dark Avengers , when he disintergrated Molecule Man which is 100% outlier.
He was ragdolling thor for most of his fight with him and that puts him above superman.
Sentry is above than Superman in terms of physical characteristics. Ragdolling Thor is impressive but he defeated Odinson with strength not with matter manipulation which proves that his unique powers are useless against characters with good durability.
And what makes him a superman copy?
