Amazing Dick Sprang art in this book! Includes the early appearances of Batman, Robin, Alfred, Joker, Gordon, and the Penguin.
Also shows the transformation from the fat butler to the skinny Englishman we know him as today. And we get to enter the Batcave for the first time.

Okay read. Joker is out of character though Harley is still fun and that is all that matters.

It's interesting to see the way Jim Lee did the pencils through out the book without the inking and coloring.

Lots of stupid stuff happened in this story (the fall of the Dibny's, the pointless death of Firestorm, Captain Boomerang all of a sudden becoming Ron Jeremy, Robin's dad dying when there was so much stories they could've told since Jack discovered the identity) though I loved. Despite it all the DCU still seemed to friends. At least somewhat. Plus, Rags on art!!!

Batman & Robin is actually pretty entertaining as a comic.
